questnc
The only thing that pisses me off with this guy is lieing about mailing the item out the first time. Then not answering email for 3 to 5 days. I have never seen anyone handle a business the way this guy does. Oh well, live & learn. Good luck to the rest of you guys.. questnc
helrazr70
I guess I got lucky. I got my OVCP promptly. It arrived yesterday. I ordered it on Monday night and got it Friday afternoon. The quality of the pipe is not bad. You can see the weld near the TB, but who cares? I only paid $68 plus shipping! The key to his auctions is to bid high, but not high enough to win. If he stands to make any profit from your bid amount, he will send you a "second chance offer" with a "buy it now" price of your highest bid. All you have to do is click the tab and buy it for your highest bid amount. That is what I did. His normal buy-it-now price was $109.00 with a shipping amount of $20 for a total of $129.00. I got it shipped for $88.00. I am sorry to hear that you guys have had to wait. I got a great deal and what appears to be a good product and I got it in a timely manner. At this point I cannot say anything negative about the guy. Maybe he is just busy. His feedback # is pretty high indicating he does do alot of business. ...but on the other hand why was mine shipped so fast and others not? 88_TSi
Finally got the shifter today... Jeez  And when I say, "got the shifter", I mean THAT"S ALL YOU GET! Here's what the ebay ad says: "EASY TO FOLLOW INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS WITH DETAILED PICTURES INCLUDED" Well, they neglected to send these "detailed instructions". I'd e-mail the guy and ask him to send them to me but God only knows how long that would take... Needless to say, this was not only the first time I've dealt with this guy, but it will be the LAST time too. If I were you, I'd rethink going in on that group purchase and avoid this vendor unless you don't mind waiting on your parts and having to REMIND HIM TO SEND THEM!! Good Luck!

TylerQuest
Again, If you don't mind waiting a bit for me to get it set up, I am becoming a distributor of aftermarket parts, and will be offering group buy deals on anything I can get my hands on.....from shifters to coil overs, etc.... Caliber308
101 propose seems like a nice guy but!!! Ive been emailing him back and forth about the tophat issue on the coilover kit. Heres what I got. If you want two more tophats it will cost you $10.00 more. So I paid it :x :x What else am I supposed to do??? I need them so I have to pay the price But, if I ever get involved in a Group Purchase again on this website. I will be asking a whole lot more questions, UPFRONT!!!!!! Also, The only instructions that came in the box were for the Front Coilover install. There were no instructions for the rears????? And I did the rears first!!!!! The front instructions never told me: The two tophats are for the FRONT ONLY     CALIBER
questnc
Calli, sorry to hear about your problems with him. I cant believe the nerve of this guy. He does seem very nice, but not organized. What mods need to be done to get a bov to fit up this guys a--!!!! Just kidding, not! questnc
kfitts
I ordered th short throw. It did take awhile to get it.The only thing I didn't like was it does't come with the nylon bushing. You have to go to a transmission shop to find one.
questnc
If Im not mistaken it should have come with the bushing, but I understand that it doesnt last long. So your probably better off going somewhere and getting another to fit it, like your doing. I know that Cali. didnt get 2 rear hats with his coil overs( were supposed to be included) & had to order & pay him for 2 that should have been in there to begin with. :? questnc
Someone posted that the plastic bushing that came on their short throw broke into several peices in their tranny.I cant remember who posted it, but sounds like you guys are better off finding another anyway. button
I just did a transaction with 101propose for the MK1 Mookeeh Short thow shifter via Ebay/Paypal. I received it today 01/04/06, I won it on 12/31/05. So I think they shipped it out promptly, and I much appreciate that. But I think they may have rushed a bit, and damaged the base in the process. OR, it was damaged during shipping (probably the response I will get since I overlooked the $3 shipping insurance). But here is the response I sent them, and Pictures of the damage.Feedback is pending...>>Hello, >> I just received my shifter in the mail today. It looks great, other than >one corner that looks to have been broken. I am including as detailed >pictures as I can. It doesn't appear that it will effect performance at all, >but in the event it does, what do you suggest we do?>Pictures:> http://ilostmymind.com/upload/opened.JPG> http://ilostmymind.com/upload/label.JPG> http://ilostmymind.com/upload/cornerangle.JPG> http://ilostmymind.com/upload/corneraligned.JPG> http://ilostmymind.com/upload/cornerseperated.JPG> http://ilostmymind.com/upload/cornerzoomedout.JPG>I will not install it until I get a response from you, preferably within 24hrs.>>Thank You,>Jay>
button
The reply is pretty short and to the point, but most of all FAST! >>i am sorry to hear that you are having a problem.>i will be happy to replace it if you are not happy with it.>>thanks,>M.>>> oh yeah, no bushing with mine. but I did get his instructions http://ilostmymind.com/upload/DSCN0117.JPG
button
It installed fine, and is working great. It is a tad bit short compared to the stocker. it squished my shifter boot down soo much that it kind of causes resistance and makes it a little uncomfortable to shift to 5th/reverse. other than that, great deal!! I will do business with Mookeeh again! JAinsworth
I order a MK1 chromed ovc pipe with bov about two weeks ago. Recieved the order in about 7 days. Real nice piece makes the engine bay look good. Can't wait to get the other pipes. Kellydahman i'll be calling you next.
Mazarin
I had more trouble moving all the dash parts outta the way than actually dealing w/ the shifter. I didn't get a bushing either. But other than that it seems good! The springs in it are REALLY stout, I've been trying to soften up a bit but this is SO MUCH BETTER than that stock Freightliner shifter. 83_project_toy
i've gotten the shifter and ovcp with bov. they both work great and have been on my car for almost a year now. sometimes the shipping took awhile but i think he might be making them once they've been ordered. i'll get more stuff from him. SpEeD147
I asked 101propose on a tuesday if he could ship out an ACT XTSS Clutch and a Fidanza flywheel out the next day to arrive at my house by friday. He got the job done, great communication, i'm extremely satisfied. Package came friday and i could replace my clutch with a new flywheel before the weekend was over! much appreciated man
Killaphil
Hey dude, I understand wanting your parts asap. Everytime a part for my car is delivered, it feels like Christmas. However, i have ordered a shift knob and a short shifter from 101 propose and both were received, and both parts were exactly what i ordered. I have emailed 101 and have received emails back, not right away but within a week at the latest. He even made a custom sleeve for my short throw so it would fit properly with the shift knob(did not have to do that but did). The only thing that might have bothered me was that he did not leave feedback for me at all(positive feedback helps prove your integrity with ebay). When I order the coil overs for my car, I have no reason to believe that the parts will not come in. From what I read(what you typed), the shipping paid was incorrect(only error made on your part). You are one negative opinion out of hundred's of positive. I will remember what you said and keep that in mind for future reference if this problem continues with others. csdisme
I have purchased a number of things from 101 and have yet to be disappointed either in the part itself or in the speed in which I received it. He has shipped out any item I have ordered when he says he will and has promptly emailed me a tracking number. He has worked with me on a trade I made with him and I feel he has been honest and forthcoming in each and every one of our transactions. The guy is cranking out parts for our cars like a StarQuest factory and he is sticking with us long after some of the other so-called manufacturers have long disappeared. He listens to our suggestions regarding the fabrication of his parts and even has made changes to them because of our comments. As long as he keeps doing what he is doing, I for one will keep on buying from him. Thanks
