Thanks for the kind words, David!! It's sad for me to think of not 'going shopping' in your garage anymore! These are big shoes to fill in the StarQuest parts world! Is there a way to test a steering box that is out of the car? I have a couple that I believe are good (I was told they were good when I got them). If there's a good way to check them out I would like to do so before offering them?

Nope, not the same fixtures. The Vernon specials had the lower hose fitting pointed in the wrong direction. In order to fit and work properly in a StarQuest the lower hose fitting had to be cut off and rewelded at a different angle. I'm very surprised you don't know this. It has been discussed to death on this forum.....

CXRacing is NOT an exact duplicate of that other one. The CX Racing one doesn't have to have the lower hose fitting cut off and rewelded like that other one did I have some OEM ones if you want to buy a used one.

Here are a couple of pics of the header I have. It has an area where the paint is cracked, but I don't see any dent that would have caused it.
