  1. I have the FIP complete system and yes, It starts right up and runs great. There will always be some tuning need with every standalone system. The system is simple to install and tune, I have no issues with my setup. BTW; There are alot of MPI Starquest cars out there that never visit these sites.
  2. Hey emagdnim, Just an FYI, Those Purolator Oil Filter starved my engine of oil and I spun a Rod bearing on a brand new rebuild. Now I only use K&N 1005
  3. I have the FIP complete setup and I love it! The polish job is one of the best i've ever seem. It has been on my car for awhile now here in Hot Florida and it still looks like I just pulled out of the box BLING! Just wipe it down and thats it. Well wearth every penny!!
  4. I have the system and it works great! The car started right up and runs much smoother.
  5. 2.5 is all you will ever need. Good med. point http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10066/IM000615.JPG
  6. I have the full FIP setup and my car runs great! Here are a few maps if you want to try them. Remember every car is not alike :!: This was my current map for the stock cam setup. You may need to add or take away 5% fuel from the VE table 80 pka and under, at all RPM range. http://www.perfectfitts.com/images/VETable.jpg http://www.perfectfitts.com/images/Enrichments.jpg http://www.perfectfitts.com/images/Constants.jpg
  7. The kit is an easy install. I have it and it works well, I also have the EDIS kit as well.
  8. FIP MPI setup, you won't find a better deal on the planet ! These are not your average easy to find bolt on parts car. Almost every part or system offered is custom made by a handful of members or vendors. I own and am very happy with FIP products. IMA you won't find a more complete package for the price

  10. Great Job Guys!! I'll add this to my list
  11. I ran a caravan head on my car for 3 years with no problems. Just swap out the valves and cam.
  12. Guys, I saw an interview with Gale Banks awhile back and he said, You can add all kinds of modifications to an engine, change headers, intakes, more fuel, but if you don't modify or change the head, you want see much HP. wasbii, I agree. The only thing really holding these engines back are the heads.
  13. I was going to do a swap awhile back, but then I ask myself, what did I really want out of this car in HP. I wanted a streetable car that could produce 300-500 HP. Well I realized, I already had the motor I needed, the G54 will do that and more. With that said, If I was to swap it would be the Buick Grand National Motor. http://www.perfectfitts.com/StarQuest/slides/National_Motor.jpg
  14. Don't Forget, FIP >http://www.fuelinjectionpro.com/
  15. I ordered th short throw. It did take awhile to get it. The only thing I didn't like was it does't come with the nylon bushing. You have to go to a transmission shop to find one.
  16. Good choice. I will be using the SX Performance 18203 Pump. 750 is more than enough for a street car. I just like high quality stuff. I know a few people that have had over heating issues with the 255 pump and had to replace them. That was enough for me to choose the SX.
  17. SX Performance Model 18201 Fuel Pump http://store.yahoo.com/turboimports/sxpermod18fu.html Havn't purchase from them yet, So not sure how they rate.
