If you need some specifics let me know. The top one has the stock dipstick in there, with some bending of the bolt tab. It bolts to the intake.

I am not trying to thread jack, but is it best to put the air temp sensor before the throttle body? I thought i recall seeing someone having the sensor on the side of the intake.

I suppose it would be a matter of opinion. I think it would be best to have it there as you would be reading the air coming out of the innercooler before it is exposed to the soak heat of the intake manifold.

Grant...Any and All pics would be awesome....I've having a hard time with the heater core hose being in the way of # 4 injector....You guys do anything with that...? I finished the new fuel setup for it...working on the wiring . Also...My stupid head has bolts instead of studs....Its not making it any easier...

i bent my dipstick tube made a bracket out of sheet metal and bolted it to the front fuel rail bolt.

 

fits great there

I didn't think about up there....You have any good pics of that IC pipe setup...I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do....I've got the full *DM pipes...and cant decide whether to hack them up....

Does anyone know the measurments for the tb flange...I pickeup up a tb from a 89 5.0...I think its like a 58mm? I was just going to use it for mock up...Shouldn't it be the same bolt pattern....If Not I'm about to be seriously pissed.....

what do you have on there now?

 

The 96+ modular (4.6 and 5.8) TB is not the same as the 5.0's.

 

I'm not sure Chad....I bought the flange from Trilogy...Didn't know there was a difference in them...Its a little to narrow and way too short....Looking at different pics It looks like the new style flange

From what I see in your pics, it is the newer style.

 

That TB you linked to doesnt' have the right kind of throttle linkage. It is the correct one otherwise. They are on many ford V-8's but there are 2 versions, the one you show and the right one. The mustang version I can guarantee is the correct one linkage wise.

i'd say sell the *DM's, and buy a 2.5" ebay kit and make your own. thats what i did(don't look great at the moment, but they work)

I pulled it off the heater core hook-up and cut about an inch out of that end to make it more 90* than and S curve to 90*. Works for me so far.

Well...I'm done with my mock up....Just need to go back and do it all right now...I think All my fittings are good and all I'm worried about is the heater core hose....Hopefully I'll get some time to finish it middle of next week....Import Showdown is next weekend...lol...cutting it close.

Oh yeah...and I still have to weld a bov flange on my pipes....

 

Also...Can I put the pressure source for my boost controller pre intercooler...Or will that make pressure differences....? Does it need to be close to the throttle body? Thanks guys

Had to weld an angle on the water neck...should have done more but it works....just have to button it up......also welded bov flange on.....
