I yelled at her for zipping around town thinking she's awesome. Then, apologized to her because she's right.

(changed over to synthetic oil, too - AMSOIL Z-Rod 10w-30).

Finally got my power steering lines to seal up so very happy that there are no more leaks! Also reinstalled my air diversion panel.

But before I got to work on my car I had to drop the gas tank and replace the filler neck coupler that was leaking in the general ;)

If you have a big press yes.... otherwise burning is easiest. I cut mine out. took a long time.

could you press them out or did you have to burn them out?

Most people don't have a press so burning is easier. Besides you need the outer metal bushing shell for the poly bushings. A cleaner way than lighting the whole thing on fire is burning out the center. Put a propane torch on the bushing so it's blowing flames through the center metal sleeve. After a few minutes that will melt the rubber around it so you can push the center part out with a screwdriver. Then pry the rest of the rubber out and wire brush.

The Whiteline Poly control arm bushings don't re-use the stock metal bushing shell, and the stock bushing shell is molded inside the rubber bushing. It's supposed to be pressed out and replaced, and if the new bushing is for a control arm it should have the metal outer bushing with the urethane molded into the inside as one piece. Re-using the old bushing shell would compromise the strength of the bushing majorly, but I don't see how it's even possible to do that.

The MK1 poly bushings re-used the stock outer shell. I think the stedbani ones did too. The PST bushings I put on my Ford Galaxie also re-used the outer shells. It's pretty common. But not every bushing manufacturer does it that way.
