BOHO
Hmm...I didn't know that...I'm also not sure what to do with the fuel rail yet...I'm using a aeromotive...Trying to find a T fitting for the rear...and not sure how I want to cap the factory hole yet... http://img14.imageshack.us/img14/3606/005zqm.jpg
Chad
Did you not get the black plastic fuel rail spacers? you'll need them... grind down the factory regulator boss flush and drill/tap it for a 1/8" NPT pipe plug . Then drill/tap the capped end for a return line. Use a metric-to-AN banjo fitting, or drill/tap for a 90* AN fitting.

Technology
I made my own gaskets for the upper plenum and TB, you can find DIY gasket material at some auto parts stores. Definately move the water neck to clear the intake, mine is about 1/4" or so away from the radiator hose, and I think some heat is absorbed from that when idling at least. RichyQuest87
http://www.shop.trilogyturbos.com/product....amp;productId=5 My injector bosses on my OG magna fuel rail leaked so bad and finding a replacement was next to impossible I found one of these on ebay. The ends are 6AN on both sides and no regulator hole to plug.
BOHO
Well...I got my stock intake off today...My intake valves look HORRIBLE.....#4 is way worse than the others but they have alot of build up on them....Anything I should do while I can see them...without pulling the head...? jisleyjr
No I didn't get the spacers with mine..... I think i recall reading in a past thread about finding these spacers on an eclipse, 2.0L or 1.8L engine.

BOHO
Is there any special reason that the vacum source for the brake booster is setup for #4 cyl? Can I just put it on the plenum?
Minagera
Is there any special reason that the vacum source for the brake booster is setup for #4 cyl? Can I just put it on the plenum? We take the vacuum from the back side of the manifold to the booster.

Minagera
from the plenum? Yup where the threaded hole is. I re-tap it and put a brass 90* fitting with and then a barb fitting in that.
Chad
I put mine on the #4 runner because that is where the stock hose went, that way you don't need to buy a new hose. Functionaly speaking, you can put it anywhere after the throttle body adn before any injector (like the plenum).
BOHO
Thanks....This aluminum sux....My taps are coming out pretty messy....I'll be able to get them to seal but damn....Its odd to me...real coarse or something...I finished it today...Now I've got to get the fuel setup and finish the wiring.....I'm still not sure what to do on the intake gasket also. I bought one for the tbi manifold and that rear water port is too tall for the magna...Does any one have a link to some info I could look at? Chad
You need to fill that port in and re-sise it to US spec. Either that or make an adapter plate that can sndwich between the head and intake, but that will then require both US and aussie gaskets. Are you using lube on your taps when you cut the threads? BOHO
ARRG....I keep finding things that I didn't do...lol...I guess this is why people don't mod them themselves....I didn't do anything for the dip stick...My throttle cable braket I made..the notch is way to big....I ended up just cutting the water neck and angling it more perpendicular to the radiator... But I think I got my computer figured out at the Megameet....So if I would have stayed TBI I'd prolly be running...who knows now.....

This is your first go at it, you are bound to have a few problems. Sit back look at your problems and come up with something to fix them. Or I can get a bunch of pictres of my MPI car and the other MPI manifold we have. If that will help you.
