just a sheared valve actually.

 

No, I didnt do it.....but i know who did. ;)

 

But for some reason I think it would be that high boost pressure everyone likes to brag about running.

....maybe? :P

they are not hydraulic adjusters.

 

Possible he tried to adjust the lash.....too tight???

Rocker arm broke.....but so did the valve.

 

Valves look like all the other valves I have in the garage.

 

One thing for sure.....it did not break at 2,000 rpm! :excl:

 

Funny the engine still ran though :P good ol 2.6

true, but he broke a intake valve. i also see a broken mechanical rocker arm

 

another point about caravan heads is they have very weak valve springs,, that can cause valve float and them breaking

caravan springs 64 lbs, quest turbo 74 lbs , new pressure reading , after a while they get a lot lower

 

and I thought I saw two broken valves , mabe I looked wrong
