To answer the posters question, the section of the bov that attaches to the intake needs to be attached to a flange on the Upper intercooler pipe, or cold side of the intercooler(between the intercooler and throttle body) the vaccum line for the bov can be taken from any vaccum source on the intake manifold that contains both vaccum and positive manifold pressure. Â
As the intake manifold  becomes positively charged (boost) it pushes the diaphram of the bov valve closed holding the boost in

air intake system for quest

Guys
I've been playing with the idea of modifying the stock air can to get its air from a scoop in the passenger fender just above the wheel well. There is already a opening for the stock air supply in the engine bay. It would need to be enlarged for maybe a 3 or 4 inch inlet which would have to be fabricated to match up with the air can and the inside face of the fender, then possibly a louvered scoop could be made for the fender, like you see on some of the BMW’s.
