FlattopMike
so lesson be learned. CHIP YOUR DOGS, AND HAVE A COLLAR WITH A GOOD ADDRESS ON IT. dogs escape. Mine jumped through a window once, came home from work and she was sitting at the front door...with a broken window next to her. A chip wont help if they happen to stray into Ono's yard. I see no reason to get any dog other than a Pug. Some dogs were bred to fight, some were bred to hunt, Pugs were bred for Chinese royalty as lap dogs and they are very good at it! If you want a good laugh, search for "pug bowling" on youtube. I can't access youtube at work or I would put up the link.

A dog is a pack animal it's soul purpos in life is to work for the bettering of the pack. Creating a dog to sit on your lap makes it like a cat where it thinks it's in charge of you. A good fried has 3 of them other then laughs and play (and that is only when they want to) they do no good. Your dog is your choice but personaly for all the vet bills and food costs I want atleast some ROI

Turbo G54B
Lucky (almost died on two separate occasions when he was a pup so the name suits him): http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/Lucky2.jpg Black Lab/Golden Retriever/German Shepherd from the father's side and some kind of Terrier (I forget which, exactly) from the mother's side. A very good and trustworthy dog, even though he's never been trained. We've had him since he was born. Was abandoned by his mother, but ironically ended up being the only one of the liter to survive. Zeff (at three months; he's about 5 months old now): http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/Zeff1.jpg http://i194.photobucket.com/albums/z110/calavera89/Zeff2.jpg He's a Saint Bernard/Siberian Husky mix. Very good with people. Really lazy and lounges around when no-one is around or nothing left to destroy, extremely energetic and playful when there is. Your dog is your choice but personaly for all the vet bills and food costs I want atleast some ROI There was a time when I really wanted a golden retriever and I actually did have one but she died as a pup. The original owner lied about having given her shots and she got parvo. I wanted a dog that loved to swim, play fetch all day and run but as I have gotten older and lazy, my pug fits my lifestyle perfect. The only problem is making sure that she doesn't overheat. Without the long nose of a normal dog, it's like a SQ without the fans working and I don't want to crack her head!

88blkiroc
First up is Ruby our gray tabby, shes Bi-polar. http://irocu20.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/ruby1.jpg Next is Jett, the only cat I've ever seen that can play fetch. We saved him from the dumpster at the airport where I used to work when he was a baby. http://irocu20.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/jett1.jpg Last up is the baby of the house, Mae. Shes our 65lb 2.5 year old Belgian Malinois. Got her for a resuce organization at 7 week. Somebody was trying to sell her for crack when they rescued her. The day we got her. http://irocu20.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/.pond/picture064.jpg.w560h420.jpg Here is at about 2, pretty much how she looks now. http://irocu20.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/mae1.75-1.jpg Dummy tore her right ACL in late winter, had to take her in for a $1,300 surgery that was fun paying for it, Get pet health insurance people! http://irocu20.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/aclsmall-1.jpg She is a heck of a guard dog, if a squirrel farts we know about it. This is her in full on I see you and Ill remove your head if I dont like you mode. She puffs up on her shoulders when she sees something. http://irocu20.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/mae1.7519.jpg Here is the business end of things. She is a sweetheart 99% of the time but she is very protective, especially of my fiance and the cats. http://irocu20.tripod.com/sitebuildercontent/sitebuilderpictures/mae1.75-14.jpg I certainly dont condone dog fighting or anything like that (its just plain wrong) but I do recognize that our dog's breed was designed for guard and protection duty. Most people love her and she isnt that big but shes all muscle and has a broad chest kind of like a pit. Some people will cross the street if shes out on a walk and it does almost give you a little flicker of pride that people recognize the ability of your animal. Shes been great and Id love to get a buddy for her, probably a male Malinois or maybe a Groenendael (another breed of Belgian shepherd related to the Malinois). Anyway, good looking animals everyone! marso
Nice Bully Sully. My wife and I went to a Bully rescue party on Saturday. Sad how cruel people can be. I would love to put a bullet in their useless head. Here's mine again. His name is Bobo ( means dumb in spanish). Eight weeks old. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii177/marso13/SSPX0066.jpg One year old. http://i264.photobucket.com/albums/ii177/marso13/P1000653.jpg People just show us your pets, tell us their name and be thankful you have something that loves you. Leave the bullstinky somewhere else. Edited August 4, 2008 by marso
