  1. Awe man I can vouch for this car, trying to chase it through both the north Georgia mountains and gallivanting through Atlanta. There's actually been a lot of time and effort put into the car to make sure things were done right and not ghetto rigged/shade tree'd/half-tailed
  2. My thoughts are with you and your family sir. You're one of the "fathers" of this community, so here's to you pulling through!
  3. Red Wings or Timberlands will be your best bet Grant - a bit expensive up front, but they last forever Are you wanting them for casual or work? Casual - Red Wings( Engineer boots are more wellington styled ), Timberlands, Sorel's, etc Work - hard to beat brands like Danner's, Wolverine, Timberland, etc
  4. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-WvK5WC4ns0 Gentleman, the future is here.
  5. I like Bill Burr - he's along the lines of Joe Rogan as well, and he touches base on some taboo subjects as well.
  6. What, that I sold it, or that I sold it for the price that I was asking for it?
  7. Hey, if anything it gives him and his family the strength to hold it together through it all
  8. Well, an older Georgia member, jwrape, isn't doing so well http://www.youcaring.com/medical-fundraiser/help-jason-s-fight-against-brain-cancer-again-/274919 Sort of gives a run down on his situation.
  9. The Conquest and Starion were when Mitsubishi and Chrysler were blowing softly in each others ears before marriage. They're twins out of wedlock. Then Mitsuibshi and Chrysler married, had a family, and later on divorced.
  10. Especially when you try to consider aerodynamics. Pop up headlights are like parachutes.
  11. What's nice is here in Georgia, if you lease a Nissan Leaf for two years, you actually make money from the tax credits and such. Basically, it works out to where it pretty much pays for your car for those two years. That, and cost of electricity is ~$550/year. I'm pretty sure I've done that in just a month, driving a Miata.
  12. When. Nissan is destroying the market with the Leaf.
  13. That's no longer the case today. Take the 2015 Ecoboost Mustang for example. 310hp/320lb/tq, soft plastics interior ( e.g. not EVERYTHING is cheap plastic that just rattles everywhere like an Evo X is. Even Subaru improved their interior over the years on the STi since 2008 ). Base price is $25k. That's a 6spd, with the 3.31 limited slip ( you can't not get it without ).
  14. Seriously - the 4B11 is a "World" Engine - the Hyundai Genesis Turbo is the RWD variant. Mitsubishi, you want to gain car sales? Make a sub-30k, rwd 6spd turbocharged coupe to compete against the BRZ/FRS, 370Z, Mustang Turbo, etc and make sure your interior quality is up to snuff. None of this $40k for an economy car interior.
  15. Old roasters are cheap because they're expensive to maintain and restore. If you want a reliable roadster, buy a Miata. If newer - again, Miata, S2000, or the Solstice GXP/Sky Redline - each are turbo
  16. Man - Ill come out and say this - nothing, I mean nothing, beats timeless lines of italian and british cars from that era.
  17. Bump, updated original post to include album of photos I took over the weekend. http://imgur.com/a/u6fFv
  18. I shot you a PM with my cell # in case you guys got lost or had questions
  19. Well, for those who are interested, it is still going on for around noon at the V - I don't think they really expected out of state people, but hey! Ken, I hope your back feels better. I'm in your area nowadays!
  20. Best of luck sir. You know we all have your back on this
  21. Not sure. But its a twin-scroll 2.3L ecoboost, and so far a lot of feedback from tuning shops is they like the response better than Evo X's or STi's. The real question is how is it going to handle. I think it's weight distro is 53/47 - but for $35k, you get an Ecoboost Mustang with a premium package, upgraded audio package and Recaro seats, with a 0-60 in 5.6s, which is moderately respectable. Since it's ecoboost, it can also run on 87 octane. Turbo is similar to the 2015 WRX ( Garret/Honeywell design ). Possibly a downside is like the pentastar v6, the exhaust manifold is integrated into the cylinder head. Mishimoto has done a pretty decent break down http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php/mishimoto-2015-mustang-4229.html?amp;
  22. Sorry about the late reply, between SEMA, and setting the world on fire with our EcoBoost Mustang, we have not had the chance to post like we like to do. Here are the mods for this 11.81 runs, and some interesting facts about it: First 11-second EcoBoost Mustang Quickest EcoBoost powered vehicle in the 1/4 mile Race Gas Tune Removed Passenger Seat Removed cat-back (has factory cat and downpipe) 17" drag wheel/tire combo Everything else is as delivered from the factory The tuner is ready to go for these, of course for the pump gas tunes. We will start shipping Monday after the entire staff is back from SEMA." http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php/livernois-motorsports-ecoboost-5479.html
