Dave and I went down to Ohio on friday so I can adopt a bulldog. His name is Emmit and he's a 2 y.o. Olde English Bulldogge. He was rescued from a breeder that neglected a number of dogs. Emmit had the easiest of them all, Atleast he was outside and able to move. The others were in crates in a shed and the crates were too small. Emmit was tied to a tree.

Here's pixorz!!

Here is our 3 babies.

1st is Gavin, a long hair feline. The big brother. about 2yrs old now. We got him from Angels for Animals, an animal rescue. He is very well behaved besides clawing up my $500 leather table and picking on Sebastian every now and then.

Here is Sebastian (left) he is a little over a year old, I rescued him from the wild. When I brought him home he was skin and bones! Now he is doing great and is 100% healthy. He is a rare Egyptian Mau. Very playful and cuddly.

Newest addition, Jasmine! We got her from a family who couldn't take care of her. She is a Russian Blue cat.

Awesome looking bulldog.

Here are a few of the pit I posted about a few months ago. He just hit 6 months but I'll include some puppy pics too since they're always a big hit. He's just under 50lbs now. I have pictures of him up to about 40lbs, which was a little over a month ago. I'll try to get a current one. These are pretty much in chronological order starting at 2 months and ending at 5 months with each pic roughly 2 weeks apart.

This is Cirque, my 130 Lbs Cane Corso. He broke the door down once trying to get at the Terminex guy in the yard. He's protection trained and has 5 confirmed cat kills. Needless to say, cats have spread the word around the neighborhood to stay out of my yard!

Not sure why i can't get the pic any bigger and only upload one. My luck is the same with pics and conquests I guess.

sounds like a great dog - kills other people's pets and attacks strangers through doors. he'd be dead if it were my cat. :hangman:

people like you who seem proud of the viciousness of your so-called trained dog should be banned from pet ownership.

Thank you Mr. Moral Policeman,

My dog is protection trained to protect my family while I'm deployed protecting the country. I'll also have you know that my dog is far from vicious. He knows what his responsibility to protect is, my wife, my 4 year old my 3 month old and my assets. He is properly socialized and has never attacked another dog, only cats. Now if a strange dog found it's way into my 1 acre privacy fenced back yard, I'm not going to shed a tear at it's demise. So call PETA sweetheart. As long as your cat stays in it's yard and not in mine, it should be just fine.

Yeah, you never know when a stray 8lb cat might break into your house and steal your home stereo.

I bet you pet and praise your dog after it kills an innocent cat, pretty sick.

I hope a bear finds its way into your 1 acre privacy fenced back yard.

There is a weird psychological process that takes place when you own a fighting breed Imwii. I'm certainly not condoning it but I have to admit that I can relate now that my girlfriend introduced me to pit bull ownership. My pit is the exact animal that all the pit bull stink is about, pure razor's edge blue bred for size and agility and fighting, and I catch myself taking pride in that sometimes, when I'm not worried about it that is. Razor's edge pits get disgustingly big. He'll be near 100lbs if he keeps hitting the tread mill like he does. I don't understand it. I also catch myself feeling cocky about the fact that my dog could probably destroy most dogs if he decided to. Keep in mind that I'm not proud of it and I refrain from speaking openly about it or admitting it, but it's there. It happened when I read what Ono said about his Cane Corso, absolutely love those dogs by the way, and I'm sure it would happen in his mind if I suggested that River could put his CC in his place. This all seems very childish on the surface but that doesn't stop it. There's this sort of "dog's dog" bravado about bully breeds and Cane Corsos and Dogo Argentinos and Bull Mastiffs. Again, I'd never embrace the urges it causes, but it was a surprise when I started feeling it.

I wish I knew how to explain it better. There's a definite feeling of "oh yeah well my dog could kick your dog's a**" though and it's completely infantile, and I know it. I'd never train him for it or allow him to do it, but his threatening reputation doesn't bother me, and I can see how easy it would be for people of limited mental capacity to indulge this feeling and fight their dogs. I've decided the respect the dog commands is sweeter when he collapses in a strangers arms and licks their face like the baby that he is.

There are a couple of cats running around the house but they aren't worth getting the camera out.

I think you hit the nail on the head there. It is a rush to have a big intimidating dog. I have 147# rot mix. He's 6 1/2 now so he's geting older and slower but in his youth he was all muscle. I also think that when you own a dog like this you should be exsperienced with dogs and know how to keep a pack order. I also think you should have the time and know how to train the dog so that it poses no risk to anyone not entering your house yard or gurage uninvited. O chip if you want to sum up the rush feeling. It's like the first time you fire a high power firearm you just feel like dirty harry.

On the note of tearing up other animals. People need to learn to train there animals to stay out of peoples yards. Yeah a dog will get loose and wonder but you should be right after him. You should train your cats to stay in your yard or leash them. I can't tell you how many cats wander my hood, and there is no need for it. It's your pet keep it to yourself. I don't want to find your cat in my car because I left my window down that's BS. I had a cat piss inside one of my cars because it was parked in my drive way which is an off limits place to my dog for his safety and cars safety so how is that right? Or a cat could come in my yard and claw my pet and due to what it has picked up under it's claws kill my pet how is that right?

I dont understand why cats are outside??? its not an outside pet...they stay inside. When i was a kid i had a cat, and it never went outside...until it died anyways hahaha. And my dog....has escaped a few times, but always comes home...and if i KNOW it bolted...i go after it. When we lived out away from civilization, i use to be able to let her run outside...she would just cross the street and go into the empty lot...do her business, chase butterflies and come right home.

this week i have picked up three....count them THREE stray dogs. one had a collar with an address on it so he went home, and the other was MALNUTRICANED (its too early i cant spell right now) , seemed to have been beat a lot. So i fed him, took care of him for a few days and my friend wanted him so i gave him to him. Dog actually has an appt today for the vet to get chiped and shots and everything, and hes hoping to get an anti-bacterial shot his skin did not look healthy. and third...is here, no ID on his collar, so gonna have to see if he has a chip. if not ill post some things around the neighborhood, seems very loved and friendly

so lesson be learned. CHIP YOUR DOGS, AND HAVE A COLLAR WITH A GOOD ADDRESS ON IT. dogs escape. Mine jumped through a window once, came home from work and she was sitting at the front door...with a broken window next to her.
