  1. I had both wrist done at the same time. Good luck
  2. You can't have one scanner. The new solus is a lot of scanner for the money. If you do lots of euro and Asian IscanII or Vedis are great. I personally use the new solus tech2/tech2win,ids drb3 and iscan to get all the coverage I need but that's about 18k in scanners. Oh and a genysis for old stuff (that's all it's good for).
  3. I've seen many cars brought in and I've found more loose parts then the owner or other shop did. As far as dealers go I wouldn't trust one to change the oil on my lawn mower, but if its under warranty you have little choice.
  4. Pm me your email and ill send you a pic it's in good shape.
  5. I have a good throttle cable 20.00 shipped And a cluster without broken trip knob and 88104 on it 65.00 shipped can email pics Shipped is within the lower 48
  6. A scanner would have made life much easier. You do realize that ANY module on the CCD bus can be causing your issue. You can also have delamination of the board at the connector of the cluster. Your van is old enough you should be able to plug and pray the bcm aslong as you don't have a grey key. SKIM tends to keep most DIYers from playing with pcms and bcms on chryslers.
  7. Pull the plastic of the back and look at the solder joints on the main connector these were good for cracked/ bad solder on the connectors. Yes there is few wires because the data is bussed on the CCD bus.
  8. low speed abs activation. without the proper scan tool its just a guess. But go with the wheel straight and no hands apply the brakes and see wich direction the steering wheel pulls to. Then check the wiring on the oposite side wheel speed sensor. If there is not visible breaks or pulls in the wiring "part dart" says replace that wheel bearing. most of the time these are victim of bad bearing istallations where the wires rub on cv axle. Dont buy cheap bearings. 80% of the time this trick will point you to the right bearing to replace but i do not guarantee your results or the results of over the pc diagnostics . with the proper scan tool (tech2) scan abs module and watch the signal drop out on a graph.
  9. Watch the heater hose for leakage into the rear two cylinders causing miss fires. 97 should still be spark plug wire no cop. They all eat lower ball joints. Never buy a used air suspension compressor. Otherwise it's a f150. Should be damn near bulletproof.
  10. Drag radials will break axles quicker then slicks. Highlyboosteds problems went away after he went to wrinkle walls good Cus it sucked putting axles in every Friday.
  11. The plate loses tension as it gets old. I would set the clutch air gap before buying a clutch. You need the tool to pull the plate if you put a clutch on it anyway I think your supposed to have .020 or so between the plate and clutch any less it will drag and sound like a bad bearing. As long as its quiet engaged then worst case your looking at a clutch and that's easy once you pull the plate off
  12. Most of the time noise on those are just the air gap needing to be pulled. Does the noise go away when the clutch is engaged?
  13. Hmm I should take a pic of the wife's pink sig for you garret but it's early and I'm lazy
  14. I have quieted many of these down with fresh dual pump fluid folowed by some figure 8's in the gravel
  15. As far as the radiator don't use cheap parts I don't install them on people's cars if they don't want to buy good stuff I don't waste my time. Your also assuming joe DIY didn't do the last trans service in that dodge. What likely happened if it was at a shop was he called every one in town and went to the cheapest. This is a concept many people can't figure out the cheapest shop that can get you in right now has no work they have no work because they have no repeate customers and they have no repeate customers because they do s*** work. Those are mechanics they are on par with DIY people. I don't apply to your rant because I am an automotive technician. The arp thing just sucks but good on inspecting your parts and taking pride in what you are doing .
  16. I love the imported from Detroit slogan when they have lx platform in the commercial. When I know my lx car was built in Canada
  17. Its a saturn They usually lose panels in parking lot bumps. I have seen cars similar to that rolling down the road. your assuming it was junk due to crash not just an ecotec that had a timing chain jump that wasnt worth fixing that was disposed of in true redneck style.
  18. I go to the gm dealers parts department for work sometimes. This last time I pulled up in my damn near rust free shiny 96 bronco. I get out of the car as the salesman says" you know we have nice cars here we can get you out of that". You should have seen his face when standing in front of a z06 I asked where they kept the nice cars. And walked back to parts.
  19. They are both fun. I shoot my 10/22 more just because its been around longer, and if your gonna play its lots cheaper even though I have my 223 down to .18 a round( load your own). THat and the 15-22 gets non gun people to convert very easy.
  20. the wrenches I use the most are gearwrench. And yes cash is king and you pay less if your a good customer so ask a friend to buy them for you if you can.
  21. One thing to consider is there is always a snapon man and Mac guys don't last long. I have a grand worth of Mac and Cornwell stuff that I can't warranty easy due guys going out of business. Matco isn't much better you used to be able to buy from those other guys to save money but they have all went up in price to match snapon but the quality isn't there.
  22. well all i know is I will be stocking up on ammo before the next election. Just due to the price increase during the last. The only thing i have noticed is since freedom group bought dpms there quality has gone to the crapper and many people wont even use there lower parts kits. I know i've switched to cmmg.
  23. nice rifle. I had a nice dpms AR and a glock 22 before the boating accident.
  24. I know just how you feel I had a pilodinal cyst that hadto be cut out open twice this year. Did they atleast sew you up?
