Hmmm, yeah not cheap but nothing unique ever is. Looks amazing on there, just don't paint that car it has a lot of character like that !

thanks everyone! next plan is to fix the fronts by getting better tires like a 235/40/17, go with a 25mm spacer, adjust the camber (cuz its maxed out right now) and go a lil lower all around.

Just got my 2010 GT500 wheels in. 18x9 +30 and 18x10 +24. No tires yet. Trying to figure out what size and what spacers I need.

Any body know if garystewart ever got these wheels mounted up? I'm curious to see how they look with tires and on the ground.

Bringing this back from the dead for any potential new comers. Sure wish I found this thread previously rather than guessing on what should work.

That being said my setup is 17x9 +2 in the front and 17x9.5 -7 in the rear. Tires are Falken Rt660s in 245/40/17 and 255/40/17 respectively. I have minor rubbing on the fender liners during aggressive cornering but that could be cured by raising the car up a little bit.

One thing I would like to note that I haven't see anyone mention, is that when you increase the front tire width so much the car will be more inclined to follow any crowns in the road. Which isn't particularly fun with our steering box setup 😅

I picked up some Weds RS5 Super Sport wheels for my car, but with garbage offsets.  17x8 +34, and 17x9 +38.

A 20mm Spacer on front works for the front wheels, but the 50mm spacer for the rear wasn't something I want to run on the street.

Found a set of old school American Racing ARE 398 BBS Look Alikes in 16x8 and 16x7.   The 16x8 Wheels have a +13 offset and the 16x7s were sent off to Wheelflip in CA to get resized to 16x9 with a -11 offset.  These should fit just fine without spacers, but we'll see.  Still waiting on the 16x9s to come back.

I went with 16x8 et20 mst time attacks with 35mm bolt on spacers. With 225/50 tires. Front fit well, rear needs another 5mil but I wasn't comfortable with 40 mil spacer. What are you guys doing with the front center caps, the dust covers won't let me run mine.

So my image does not want to stick but its in my resto thread.
