  1. there is no national language, and why should there be? people speaks lots of languages, and economics will probably dictate which language will be dominant as time progresses, within the states. as it stands, most technical information and science information is in english more than it is in spanish in the isa, and english has a different level of flexibility and adapts well to changes and new words. so I suppose english will probably keep its place as dominant but unofficial.
  2. yeah on the rails. if i need to turn the car has to go back up =)
  3. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IDJB2QbKd3U seems like an appropriate thread for a six foot tall tire
  4. guys, I'm really disappointed in all of you. You should all have the ability to predict which words or topics will offend any single person here.
  5. if you stripped it out it must have been already worn a good 75%. I've seen them worn halfway down and still hold together for clutch kicks and hard driving. but, yeah, once a lot of the teeth are worn down theres not really much to hold it together.
  6. honestly i haven't built the exhaust yet. but from the looks of things, im gonna have to widen the driveline tunnel. or maybe bring the passenger side floor up. IDK havent decided yet.
  7. the flatty air dam doesnt work either =( I just need a fatty air dam and cut off a couple inches from the bottom
  8. I just get snap on ratchets. craftmen sockets. and gear wrench or matco or bluepoint or cornwell wrenches. they all seem to be about the same. oh, and screw drivers, strictly german steel, they are the only ones that the tips don't round off quickly.
  9. well, the lemons cars have to be only $500 and we all know how reliable a $500 starion will be
  10. idk man most of the harbor freight hand tools last about an hour. I've had impact hammers fall apart in my hand on the first use. pry bars bend instead of actually prying. and wrenched and sockets just crack in half.
  11. can you measure the vertical distance from the front rim lip to the top point on the fender wheel-arc?
  12. there is zero evidence to suggest that you shouldn't clean your teeth. decay happens when we leave food stuck on our teeth that little critters can feed on, and subsequently that process puts holes in our teeth. my recent tooth failure was pretty much at a spot that was neglected. long work days with sugary food on my teeth and not flossing gave me a nice hole in-between two teeth. yes tooth genetics can play a part, but we do have some level of control as to how well we treat out teeth. if you think you shouldn't clean your teeth, go ask a homeless person to smile for you.
  13. i just had to go through that. had a pain, ignored it. pain stopped. turns out the tooth died and got infected. had to get a root canal and a crown. $2400 I suggest getting it handled as soon as you can, the longer you wait, the more expensive it gets.
  14. look how small!! it's great because since it's 3/8th drive there's a load more socket options. it's nice getting in tight spaces and using it for the low-torque jobs, then switching to a big ratchet for final torque. i've use this little ratchet on big stuff like crank pulley bolts and anything where I don't feel like swinging a larger ratchet. http://i638.photobucket.com/albums/uu105/nwstindy/tb/_IMG0859.jpg
  15. snap on makes it like that! its a double-80 tooth or whatever their trademark name is part number snap on FCF72
  16. snap on 3/8 drive in a 1/4 drive low-profile chassis, short, flex head. sooooooo frickin handy. http://wrenchingnetwork.org/christeris/reviews/photos/b24d1925b059f2d393687559bf59520c.jpg
