After thorough testing, a straightened turbo shaft looses a lot of strength and will bend again.

So now I'm rolling NA.

That's ok, I have a 60-1 coming Tuesday, and I get some more practice tuning NA.

According to all the power calculators I have found, my maximum hp at 6k rpm is about 75hp. I believe it.

With a th350 trans and a high stall converter, I might be making 40whp in a 3k+ pound car.

the 60-1 came in and is installed. It's a .70AR M24 housing cold side and a .63AR stage 3 hot side.

before I installed it, I couldn't spin the tires, now I can keep them spinning through third.

oh yeah, it rained all day too, hahaha

but so far I'm excited.

Hopefully I can get to the dyno or track this week, one or the other or both.

now I need to search for a 4" filter/intake.

Go to the TRACK then the dyno, I'm taking mine to OC on friday, it's the last friday of the year, and when we get done at the track we can go to merills to dyno it. I'm still in the process of installing my Holset HY35, still have the WH1C incase it doesn't work out for me. Take it to the track so we can have a battle royal....

shes going down for the winter for a mild upgrade/cleaning.

well this year should prove interesting.

I just got the pipes in to make my new intake manifold for my new motor.

I'm going to be running a FastForward ( www.ffwdconnection.com ) 2.3L stroker with the butchered/knife-edged crank, Eagle rods, wiseco 8.5:1 pistons, King Kams, fidanza gears, ported 2g head w/ 1mm over valves and crower springs/retainers. Pretty much all of it is cryo treated.

I'm switching to individual coils (blaster SS) with a DIS-4. I will still use the 950cc injectors, but I'm upgrading to twin 255LPH high pressure pumps.

I finally got a real deal Tial 38mm wastegate.

I am still planning to run the 60-1, unless I find a deal on a big holset that I cant pass up.

I need to send some stuff out to get ceramic coated and cryo treated by ffwd as well.

yeah, im using an Intel Atom D945GCLF2 board/cpu and it fits in the stereo bay. Im using a Pico 120w power supply http://www.mini-box.com/PicoPSU-120-WI-25-12-25V-DC-DC-ATX-power-supply

I'll us a solid state 32gb drive for the os and add usb ports so I can play music from my flash drive.

Very similar to what I did. Excecpt I am rolling the dice with a conventional hard drive. So far so good. Made a plate with 2 USB ports that is mounted under the touch screen. Once I get it all cleaned up I'll be sure to post it up.

Congrats on the whole setup! Really thinking of going 4G64 when I kill the current build.

This weekends project!

Project Punch Drunk Monkey!

http://www.ilostmymind.com/upload/imag0011_copy1.jpg

just figured id give it a stupid name. but that's dual walbro 255 high pressure pumps.

according to the boys at AMS, twin 255's in parallel flow 484lph at 70 psi and 458lph at 80psi.

Since I'm going to run ~30psi of boost, that would make my fuel pressure about 70 since I run a base of 40.

so I'm thinking I will have enough fuel.

well my samurai broke the crank and a i had a rotted out body with barely any electrical functions sitting in the back yard with a brokem brake line, the mercedes 300sd turbo diesel.

so i took its good motor, from its bad body, and put it in my good bodied samurai.

well, i'm in the process this week.

http://www.ilostmymind.com/upload/imag0043.jpg

samurai had a 4 cyl 1.3L 62hp/~70ftlbstq naturally aspirated gasoline engine.

the benz had a 5 cyl 3.0L 123hp/170ftlbstq turbo diesel engine.

the benz weighed 3600lbs.

samurai weighed 2200lbs.

im just swap happy i guess.

Quick update.

Mocking up the new intake. It's not finished yet, just test fitting.

I'm using a LT1 throttle body because its low profile, and has dual 50mm-58mm blades.

It also has an integrated idle valve, and a hard pipe intake elbow was cheap for it.

I drew up a flange for it and had my flat part guy cut me some extras incase anyone needs one.

I'm going to re-use my water to air intercooler but I have to modify the throttle side to 3.5" to match the intake elbow.

Since the turbo has 2.25" outlet, I'm going to leave the inlet side of the ic as 2.25" to match.

Let me know what you guys think.
