Do you have a vac oven? What do you do to get the settling bubbles out of the rubber ones poured?

Whatever Steve uses will be used,,,he never mentioned a vac oven tho.

The details haven't been gone over yet.

I only ask because I made some home made poly engine mounts for another car, and when they set there were a lot of air bubbles which lead to cracking. I was told by other folks who did the same thing to use a vac oven for the mix to get rid of any air, and then let it set in a vac chamber/oven as well to minimize any air and cracking.

But this is a home made method, so I dont know how yours is done.

Hi quikconq!!! Any chance you can get steve to reproduce the upper rear hatch hinge rubber pieces in poly???;Everyone seem to forget about these. It was me who suggested the torque tube bushing way back when to be made; because everyone forgot about these as part of the suspension rebuild. MK1 started it but never came through then steve pickup on them later I believe. The torque tubes are now produced but the rear hatch bushing are not. See if you can get Steve to look into this it should be simple for him to do. Many thanks.

Im interested in the short throw shift kit. Not too worried about the delay. I want more, but cant swing it now. So hopefully you keep these things running. Thanks for stepping up and making it happen.

Molds have been paid for,,and plan to call Steve tuesdayish.

He said he didn't think shipping is gonna be an issue,,as I said before

Almost everything is already on a pallet.

Unless he decides to ship another route.

Looking to buy the ureathane this week.

Wanted to wish you the best in this endeavor Brian! It's a big step, the best of luck to you my friend! :)

Hey Jerry. Thanx man,greatly appreciated.

Not sure how it'll work out financially,,obviously not gonna get rich. Not really looking too.

Just trying to keep these things available at a reasonable price.

If "3sx" would have bought them I'm sure there would have been a price hike.

And the availability of the shifter probably would have been lost.
