I ran into 86FlatValour over the weekend at Carlisle Performance and Style. It made me start missing the SQC family. I have no idea why i haven't been around the last few years. The SRT-4 and well....life kind of took over for a while. Got engaged, getting maried next year. But i want to know what's been going on with everybody else! So, if you remember me at all, Post up . I know there's still some of the old hats around here haha. I ran into you and your dad briefly at Chryslers @ Carlisle a few years back while I was dynoing my Neon, and then I think I ran into you on the Neon forums a couple years ago. That's about it. Glad to see you still have the car and you still drive it. Ever get things sorted out with it? I know it's been YEARS since then, but I haven't heard much about the car since 2005 or so. Congrats on the Engagement too. I've blown thru many SQ's since we've formally hung out last. I currently have an '86 Flatty, in Seychelles Red....and I've recently acquired my brother's black '88 TSi. You remember the one that broke down on our way to the Pittsburgh show back in 2004 or 2005? Haha, man that's such a long time ago. MOST DEFINITELY need to get together one of these days. I'm down for a cruise to Pittsburgh to hang out with a veteran SQ member I still have video someplace of you and your parents with Pearl in the parade at Pigeon Forge 2004. The best part is she loves my cars almost as much as i do! In carlisle last weekend she was talking to guys and answering questions about the car for me cuz i was helping a buddy with his STI. I looked over and they looked pretty confused haha. Ulrich - Hope you're still a crazy tail! haha. D_Venable - That Flatty's lookin wicked! And i still have 3 haha. Drove my '88 for 2 years straight winter and all when i first got my license. Shelby - I miss ya buddy! I see you sold the truck. That's saddening . Dad - Ever get that van out of the mountains? haha HotrodTSi - I'm still in love with your car. You should probably donate your engine to me . Kev - I'm all for it any time! Let's make this happen! Slydogg - I'll deffinately be there man. Didn't make it last year due to being pretty sick. Maybe i'll even bring the 'Quest this year! I'm getting hounded to take the SRT though too, so we'll see. Coke - You know how these cars are, fix one thing and something else goes wrong lol. Still has quirks and issues but i can atleast drive it fairly reliably. And how could i forget about your bros car being stranded! Every time i'm in greensburg i laugh every time i pass Pier One! Having to run back and forth, throwing it on the dolly and dragging it home. I just enjoyed riding in your properly running car haha. I may need some help though, i want to do an engine transplant from my '88 to Pearl. Maybe we can arrange a mini meet and cook out at my house/put a better engine in the car day lol. IntercooledFlatty - Thank you . Kinda strange how things come around like that lol. JAinsworth - I still talk about PF all the time, i'd LOVE to come back down. I still remember how clean it was from PF04 lol. I may have been young but i deffinately didn't forget anything i got from this site. Without most of you guys i'd probably be rolling in a riced out civic or something stupid lol. I deffinately owe most everybody on here for any amount of my car knowledge.
