Antenna options.
By anthonytsi,
So, I have owned my 87' for over 20 years and the antenna has always been broken. I've not thought much of it until now. I do not want to go back to stock with a retractable antenna. I would like to install one of those short, black rubber ones that pick up stations well. Any thoughts on some good ones that fit and look decent?
Thanks in advance.
Just how quick can the north can destroy a car. ( an autopsy)
By Mike7447,
In my case, 2 years living in Ohio.
I used to live in Omaha back in my early years, so I am no stranger to what kind of havoc exposure to salted roads can do to a car, but up until now never had a timeline.
when I bought the current CQ, the fact that it had lived the majority of its life in Arizona made me overlook the first 2 years it spent in hell.

Before I reinstall my dash..
By CharlesE221,
I've got nearly my entire dash out, https://imgur.com/gallery/starion-no-dash-eKbjl3y. Carpet is also out because I had to get a new one. I've added Sound Deadening mats so far and am running a backup cam for a modern head unit (I've got the old one if someone wants it. Haven't verified functionality yet). Are there any other mods or random advice I should be aware of before finishing putting the interior fully together?
Many thanks, cheers.
