Preludedude
Worst description ever. Zero details about anything.
Preludedude
Should have taken the time to make it really stand out and talk all about the car. No mention of maintenance records. Nothing. What all has been replaced and when? Thats my favorite part of selling a car. Putting forth amazing effort that really stands out. That’s why I usually achieve top dollar. People buy the seller before they buy the car.
kev
Well, that's a bit critical and direct lol. I do see the point a little bit though. It has 8/9s, so I'm assuming it is a factory SHP car. I'd definitely recommend pointing that out in the ad, for it's always a big want for starquesters. Emphasize no rust, etc. All negatives appear to just be normal wear on these cars; faded paint, worn decals and pin striping, some stone chips, ding in the quarter, antenna mast, faded floor mats, etc....all the normal. A good wash/wax and a couple exterior pictures out in the sun on a nice day could bring thousands more. Add an engine photo and delete the picture of two guys prepping for a bbq, haha. Putting aside the critique, it is a nice car!
Preludedude
Direct is the only way I know to be. The seller could be leaving money on the table by giving no effort in the presentation.
techboy
That is 1000% an AI write-up. I agree, probably leaving some money table, but hey, it's his car so I guess in the end he has the right to list it how he wants.
Forklift
When you list on ebay it gives the option to have AI write the description, which this very much sounds like, agree car looks nice, could've done a lot better with more details. Mike7447
Do these cars ever bring anything that could be considered “ profitable” ? Every example I see are either below average “ needs work”, or some untouched factory stocker. What if someone ( me) upgraded the car to retro-mod standard, with everything upgraded or modified. what would a really nice version be worth? Preludedude
I’d never attempt to enter the market of SQs and hope to be profitable. These cars are a drain on your finances.
