Made some adjustments to my rotating assembly to make things turn over a bit easier, got the engine all buttoned up, rear main seal installed etc. It was a good day.

Finally got the tie rod ends. One that they say is inner drivers side which is actually passenger is on back order so I put a used one back on for now till it comes in. But, center link fits like a glove nice a tight no slop or death wobble at high speeds.

Well now.. after being away from home for 9 months I'm finally reunited with my starion.... and of course typical things came with being away... at least it was started now and then but here's what I did today..

took out battery to go get charged.

replaced old radiator with sr20 alum.

zip tied efans on it

took out wheels.... darn wheel lugs seized on studs and broke off in rear... fun fun

I did more.. but I'm calling it a day sending it in tomorrow at a shop to go get my windshield taken cared of

Set valve lash, pressure primed the oil system, did the ABS delete by modifying the stock line (free!), and located the mounting holes for my MS computer. A friend of mine helped out with the MS wiring and it is now almost done. Another couple days and the car will fire up!

I drove it to work today. Had a recent position change at work and lost the company truck (shock to the system, as I have had one since 2005). Now I'll have to alternate between the Starion and the 914.

She looks so lonely sitting down there....

Sucks losing the company vehicle, but it's a perk many of us will never experience--you instead get a different perk, driving one of 2 sports cars to work instead. I'll take it.

Leaving to marry the engine and trans back together, and drop the engine back in the car! Then, I just need to reattach the fuel lines and plumb all the peripherals, wiring, etc. and that's that.

Installed my alternator, power steering pump, some of the charge piping, clutch, flywheel, and a couple other odds and ends. Getting ever closer to the startup.
