Thanks for the pic Dred. I've been hustlin on this thing like crazy. Got back into my front aero, got my tires mounted (they are huge), changed to race pads, changed the oil and made it to the dyno. I'm super impressed with the numbers, for a stock ls motor. I will post some pics later.

They seem really tall, and on a 11.5 -33 offset rear wheel, they are mighty close to rubbin. What size rim?

18X10.5 Still need a spacer as my offset is in far enough it's just touching the inside edge to strut. Guessing like a 20 25 MM will be just right.

Id be most fearing the EVO's STI and believe it or not the 3 speed. The M3 won't be much unless it's got some major upgrades and a skilled driver.

The BRZ's are going to be no worries as you can barely get any rubber under them. The wheel wells are like indy car wheel wells (non existant)

Well, one thing's for sure.... Your car will be the most obscure one there LOL.

I'm stoked to see how you do. Even if you don't do as well as you hope, you deserve MAJOR props for just getting in, and all the hard work you're doing to make it ready. No matter how you do, I can't think of someone better to represent our community.

That said, I can already see the downside.... A bunch of people who know nothing about SQs will see how awesome your car in this event, and want their own with big hopes of easily making a track beast. They'll start buying up some SQs and be sorely disappointed once they get into them and realize all the work it took to get yours where it is LOL.

^ an I will sell my for a nice chunk of $$$$ ;)

Step one step underwear

step two

Step three profit..

But really dude you have a killer car. Mad I never got up there to see you when you were in Michigan. You have done some great stuff, and it is good to see you getting the credit you should.

Be careful though MS3 can be very very fast.

Sounds like you got a great attitude.... atleast you will have fun at very worst case. Really it's not even going to be the power of the EVO's it's the Tec on board. The things are sick at making no bodys seem like they have been pro drivers all there life (provided it don't scare them) It's sick like you have to try and break them loose, come in way over speed to the corner (and sometiems that don't even do it) The M3 will be tuff but only if the driver is tuff..... newer gen with full chassy control, auto reve match, adjusting suspension ect would be a whole diffrent boat.

Is there any classing, handy capping ect or just run what you brung?

yeah its run what you brung. There will be trophys for top rwd awd and fwd. But like I said, I'm going to learn a lot from this event, and be better prepared for the rest of the season.

That is cool.... there is just not much of the run what you brung type stuff any more. My dad love the grandprix but I was never thrilled with the O were all given the same car, motor ect and love the SCCA races before the real grandprix races. It was just so cool seeing all the diffrent cars, and this one corners, and this one's got the power, and each one trying to capatalize where they have the advantage + the drivers skill.

Ether way it's still an accomplishment you were invited.

And just for fun without really knowing the cars / drivers..... I pick The EVO X to win AWD, the speed 3 to win FWD, and you to win RWD..... no presure ;)

Thanks for the pics Nick! I'm glad you made it out. Ronnie, its was great meeting you too, really sorry to hear about the car I'm sure you guys will be back swinging next year. Jason, no I had to rebuild the entire system so I went down to single 3.5 exhaust with cats.

So..wow what a weekend! The car ran amazingly as always. I was def an underdog, but pulled through for sure. I had one of the lowest hp cars aside from a few hondas. There was an evo that made 745~ , a 3 rotor rx7 making 650~ish and on and on. I really felt like I brought a knife to a gun fight. Auto x I did ok, I had no time to set the car up and knew I had it too high in the rear which really effected the handling of the car. It was either plowing or drifting. Very frustrating. I got it sorted out for the time attack though and was able pull off some respectable times. All the work I put in on my aero splitter and rear wings really made a dramatic difference. At speeds around 140, the car was amazingly stable. My mustang cobra big brakes took a rediculous amount of abuse and highly recommend them for anyone looking for a cheap upgrade. For the drag racing, again the big hp awd cars had it down, but I managed to pull off a 12.6 with a hot clutch and crap tires. It was a true test to what the car is capable of, I've learned a lot and know where I can make huge improvements for the rest of the year. Unfortuantly I cant give out the results, but everyone including myself was blown away! I did however get the cover of the issue where it comes out either augs or sept! Expect the value of your car to up! I was by far the favorite even though it wasnt the fastest, I had tons of ppl tell me it was the most fun to watch. lol Heres some pics, I got some video coming as soon as I edit it all. http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/20130316_084546_zps267fa71a.jpghttp://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/20130316_085015_zpsee24b4b9.jpg

haha yeah I would have got one of those too! lol Yeah the 285s rubbed like a ma f-er, but I had to lower the car to fix the handling. http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w239/johnboy9788/20130319_155312_zps40a25a80.jpg

Since the tires were free, I did my best to hurt them in the burnout box.

Well that's not good because I have a set of 285's waiting to go on right now, and they look nowhere near big enough for my liking I would def go 305 or bigger. (dont know if the pics show or not at work) but where were you having rubbing problems? Do you think this could be due to being on custom D2's? I'm not afraid to bash some stuff, as long as it was only rubbing in a bashable area.

Quit whining about the lack of power and slap an ATI procharger on that baby. They have kits to realize a 52% gain with supporting mods and tune. I've had one they make KILLER setups, and there kits include it all.

O and BTW Awsome Job.... can't wait to hear the results and see some runs.
