so the TDStarion is down. needs a new clutch. i guess 30lbs o boost is to much. other than that the car is still running great, 40ish mpg on the highway. after clutch comes bigger turbo, intake mani, and then 3in exhaust. and that will be all i can do without ripping the engine apart.

Yeah! That's awesome, haha! I recommend ACT 6 puck if you're looking for maximum holding power. I have a SPEC clutch for sale that grabs hard and holds 450+ and feels stock.

83-85 mighty max and ram 50's there was a ford ranger that had this but there were many many changest to that. over the big mud puddle there were Pajeros, and many more. but those were 4d55 not the 4d56 the only diff in them is the head. and if you think starquest parts are hard to find,,,,,,,,build one of these diesel motors. actually the market has opened up some for parts but,,,, i did have pistons shipped in from ausy land for 1k.......5yrs ago. took 4 months too .lol......
1989 Conquest .20 over block. Wiseco pistons.new Marnel head w/ 1mm over sized ss valves. TEP hydraulic 272 cam. Holeset HE341 at 20psi. Stainless log manifold, hurricane MPI intake manifold. 75lb injectors. 3" exhaust. 3bar map sensor. Ajusta Head gasket. ARP head studs. FIP updated by Scott87star to control spark, running MSEXTRA. XTD stage 3 clutch. also running Scott's thermal barrier ceramic coating on the piston tops and the underside of the head, the thin film lubricant coating on the piston skirts, valve stems, cam, cam bearing journals, turbine shaft, turbo bearings, main bearings and rod bearings. The thermal barrier blue on the exterior of the turbine housing and CHRA and an undercoating of thermal barrier ceramic on the turbine housing and CHRA. I'm likely forgetting something.
