I'm trying to help a friend get rid of her car. i noticed under the car a bunch of oil on the tranny and the tranny was slipping. i figured it was the rear main seal. but the guy at the shop said he thought it was coming from the sending unit on the tranny. when i was driving the car home when it was in over drive, smoke started pouring out the back like i had blown a head gasket. wheni took it out of overdrive it stoped very weird. any ideas. i have another tranny at the hose that came with the car. how can ai tell if it is good?
