psu_Crash
And is it still rich at idle after a ride? In a month or so drive the car to me. In a weekend we can surely have it all good.
jahjah
Braden i looked over your MSQ, there were some bizarre settings on your ASE change them to this, it should work much better. Edited February 27, 2010 by jahjah

BOHO
Well...I must not have recorded right...I'll get it posted... I can do good pulls on 10psi now....Should I changed anything to up the boost? Or just let the added fuel pressure do the work for me..?
pure_insanity
well, first off is make sure your afrs stay good into the upper kpa and rpms range, adjust there if nessecary. past that, im not really sure what to do with timing. i still havent gotten to that point myself. BOHO
Kyle...My biggest issue right now is itermittent noise in the tach signal. I think it may be touching something somewhere...Some times When I'm datalogging the car will start going crazy. The RPM's graph looks like a mountain range! when its doing it. and It will just go away. The car is running well though other than that. Does the "hard" rev limiter not work with Edis? Just the spark retard? Not cut? You know any more details on it?

You know any more details on it? check the clearance of your VR sensor, make sure its super tight. funny you ask, i was actually looking into it this morning. http://www.autosportlabs.com/hard-limiter-module-p-36.html get that and hook it up, but you have to condition a signal to send a 5v signal if i recall correctly. not really easy to do to be honest with ya. substock
talk with psu_crash, he put one on his ms. i built a megajolt last year, and it is was much more difficult to build at first since its all surface mount, but after you get the hang of it its not too badhttp://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l225/substock/For%20Sale/DSC00437.jpghttp://i97.photobucket.com/albums/l225/substock/For%20Sale/DSC00558.jpg
BOHO
Looks simple enough...I wonder what to use for output from MS? I don't even know what to do with the db25 connector on my Ms....lol...i suck hard core
psu_Crash
Just to confuse you Braden this is what you want to build to condition the output from MS to use with the EDIS rev limiter http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/5806/revlimitercircuit.png
BOHO
Well....I decided it was time to put my walbro fuel pump back in and I wasn't sure what fuel pump was actually on my car...Since I bought it as a rolling chasis and it had a good one...Well..here is what I found...Guess this could have been bad...I barely touched it and this happened http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/3873/46067046.jpg I finished building my struts and also need to get a muffler put on..The tractor gig is starting to get old pretty quick... http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/7067/31415168.jpg http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/4725/21024225.jpg

BOHO
Are low 12's at WOT that bad? Car seems to be running well...No signs of detonation but want to be sure...timing is pretty conservative so thats why I don't think its an issue right now. psu_Crash
The timing is definitely conservative. The reason for that is my knock sensor (MSknocksense) being VERY sensitive. I see blips and I back off timing, so without a pro tweaking it I figure conservative will keep my engine (and yours) in one piece Edit: you should see the tank I just pulled off my car ... I can't believe it didn't eat the pump a lot sooner. The outside of the entire thing is so rusted I can barely find the screws for the sending unit and pickup. Getting them out in one piece is not happening. Inside bottom looks ok. The inside top ... thick scaly rust ... bigmandsm
what do you do with the rear coolant port on the magna intake?
BOHO
I welded it up to match the U.S. spec head...I couldn't get it to seal w/o doing so
bigmandsm
Ok I got lucky on e-bay got a magna with gaskets ,inj's and throttle body for 127 bucks and never really heard about the coolant port before by any chance you got pic's
BOHO
lol...what a f'n deal man. If you look at Pdod's thread he just posted its just the opposite problem. The picture he posted of the magna has alread been modded to get the small u.s. spec hole. It is "originally" the size that his head is...I just did the same thing Chad does. Well...what do you know...I found a pic after we welded it and resurfaced it. The port on the rear is the one that has to be modded. It used to look like the port up front...Does this help?? http://img708.imageshack.us/img708/5764/69465848.jpg Edited March 9, 2010 by BOHO
