My dream car. I've always wanted one, finally bought one 6 months ago. It is slowing my Conquest build though. The model was a friend of a friend.

It is an 89 2.2L Turbo. 235HP, 0-60 in 5 sec and a topspeed of 159MPH

Some new pics from a 3 day, ~1000 mile cruise this weekend.

All images shot with my Samsung Galaxy S2. Camera phones have gotten pretty good. The first is a bit zoomed in and is a bit grainy. But the others turned out pretty well I think.

Not much really I picked mine up for $15,500. It was in pretty good shape with 52K miles. When I bought it, it needed about $1000 in brake parts, I did the work myself. They are a bit fiddley and parts can range from dirt cheap to very costly. Also working on them is far from straight forward. I normally feed it about $1000 in parts a year, which is pretty damn good for an Esprit. I've had it nearly 5 years and over all it has been enjoyable. They do have a huge amount of presence on the road or in a parking lot.
