LizardKing
It was a free car that could have gone to the scrapyard but saved. Nice!

I Made over $500 just off of the parts I wasn’t using & now have a running car out of it. Next I’ll paint it, sell it for a few grand & move onto the next project (63’ FORD F100 with a supercharged Chevy 350 small block) 16 hours ago, tux said: Why not, as long as it's back on the road Indeed, And It will be going for it’s first drive once I get the driveshaft resized this week 🤙 15 hours ago, LizardKing said: It was a free car that could have gone to the scrapyard but saved. Nice! Exactly, saved from scrap, soon to look beautiful again with some fresh paint & then is going on marketplace after I have some fun with it 😎

Maybe it was because you used Ford!!!

Back then people dogged the car because I didn’t try and put a Chrysler V8 in it to keep it “ in the family”. 🙄 Last time I checked, Chrysler didn’t have any “family” members in Japan. The 347/363/393 ford engines that I put in the two CQ/ Starions I had in 2003-2007 fit like the car was made for them. Front sump orientation, short front-rear, narrow side-side made them all too easy to do. I wish digital photos were easy to deal with back then, but it was the time that it was. But fortunately, because of the two prior cars, I’m pretty confident I can make things work that aren’t supposed to work on the current car Edited August 13 by Mike7447

Thanks man, I’ll have a full video real soon now that it’s now running, just need to get the driveshaft cut and welded to the correct size and then it’s getting painted next On 8/14/2024 at 12:58 PM, Turbo Cary said: What kind of Roll Tide Alabama cousin lovin stuff is this. This here is a free car, free engine & now it runs rather than going to scrap like it was originally set to do. Probably more reliable than 1/2 of the cars on here too

Whatever is available and free was the best option to get this back on the road. I built this car entirely for free and have made about $600 from parts I sold off. I already have a V8 / body swapped Fiero, A body swapped 55’ Ford on an e39 BMW, a 350 SBC swapped Corvair & my last RX7 had a 350 SBC swapped as well. I like swaps that people don’t / won’t usually mess with.
