Bill Hincher
I built a replica of a Conquest frame so I can complete drivelines from motor mounts to driveshafts http://projectzerog.com/userpages/billhincher/rotisorie1.jpghttp://projectzerog.com/userpages/billhincher/rotisorie2.jpghttp://projectzerog.com/userpages/billhincher/rotisorie3.jpghttp://projectzerog.com/userpages/billhincher/rotisorie4.jpghttp://projectzerog.com/userpages/billhincher/rotisorie5.jpg

importwarrior
could you make some 2JZ mounts as well?we see some 2JZGTE engines and R154 swaps on here also. also the most problems i see is the cross support for the trans. it would be nice to have one that fit and looked like factory.a good quality bolt on trans cross brace would be great for the 4G63 or 2JZ GTE swaps. Bill Hincher
I had never wanted to get so involved in all of this, but that's life, after I built the housings, people asked about the motor mounts which lead to the drive shafts which in turn went into shifters, so I built this tool to help me build everything required to complete any swap with any motor or trans combination and place everything where it should behttp://projectzerog.com/userpages/billhincher/tailshaftmount.jpghttp://projectzerog.com/userpages/billhincher/tailshaftmount1.jpghttp://projectzerog.com/userpages/billhincher/tailshaftmount2.jpghttp://projectzerog.com/userpages/billhincher/tailshaftmount3.jpghttp://projectzerog.com/userpages/billhincher/tailshaftmount4.jpg

DieHARDmitsu.
pure awesomeness! I like the T 5 Bill Housing... way more options. For the price of used t56, a TKO can be owned.

Bill Hincher
these are most of the different style housings I build but not all of them http://projectzerog.com/userpages/billhincher/motor%20mounts%20001.JPG Edited October 1, 2015 by Bill Hincher
lionbull
This is nice work and all Bill but there are those of us who want more tranny options for the wide-block.Please build a T5. why don't you do a poll to see who will be interested. I bet the tbi and MPI guys will be interested as opposed to a few motor swap guys here and there....been waiting for this about 5 years now. importwarrior
does that mean you can make a driveshaft with larger u joints rather then the stock U joints? http://image.fourwheeler.com/f/29147623+w600+cr1/1006or_07_%2Buniversal_joint_strengths_and_specs%2Bdriveshaft_u_joint_types.jpg
Bill Hincher
yeah, that is the plan, but I need to source the proper yoke to the given trans to keep the cost down on the drive shafts
slowquest
Just making a rear yoke to accept the 1350 joint mated to the stock diff flange would be 75% of the battle. A lot of us are running different transmissions that we can get shafts and front yokes for, it's the rear that's always the issue.
Bill Hincher
yeah I studied the rear yoke a couple years ago, I need to sort through all my notes and get back up to speed
