EMS New Website

Hey all.

I just recently released a redesigned website for Engine Machine Service. I would greatly appreciate any and all feedback on it. Please let me know if anything looks weird, doesn't load, or a link doesn't work correctly. I hope the new Conquest parts page makes things a bit easier to view the inventory.

You may have to hit refresh if you are given the old webpage. This scenario normally means your browser cached the old one. If you absolutely can't see the new design then please let me know. You can access it directly here: www.enginemachineservice.com/ems/index.php

Direct link to conquest page: http://www.enginemachineservice.com/ems/conquest.php

Thanks guys.

I dig it, easy to navigate. Before it was a tad difficult to find the parts needed in the large list, now it's much simpler and clean!

Nice Job Sir!

It's just a shame. Bill does all the work while Randy just blows it up on face book. Hahahaha just playing. Looks good fellas.

Looks great! I like that you used HTML5 tags for the layout. I still see a lot of people use nested tables, so it's nice to see some good design. The only critique I have would be a few css choices. I played around in Firefox, and I think that making the body background-color #ccc looks better to my eyes than #202020. I also think the text in the nav and footer should be font-weight: bold; and you should text-align: center; the footer. I also added a box shadow to the div with id="wrapper" to give it a little more visual appeal. box-shadow: 10px 10px 5px 5px #999; Again, I think it looks really good as-is. Here's a couple of screen grabs of what I played around with.

Also notice that the onboard overflapper was coded right about the Finnidling pins in Windows 3.1 using a mach 5 scenario :)

JK Dude, just thought, to the layman...that made no sense. :)

:P There's only a couple things I have a moderate amount of knowledge about - computer programming, playing guitar, and Magic Card strategy 1993 - 2002. If questions about any of these pop up you can be sure I'll give my input. Probably why my post count is < 200 after being on here for 10 years. :D

Just placed an order, and already got a confirmation from a person! Crazy good service! Only suggestion I would have is to have a breakdown of the categories listed on the side when selected. Not necessarily clickable links, but just a further breakdown. Either way, I am just hoping the fusible links get here quick, as I was an idiot and blew one...

Thanks for all the offerings, I will be a returning customer when I start going through the fuel system again.
