Lifted trucks anyone?

I'm not sure how many of you guys are into this sorta thing but my brother got some nice pics of his truck snowmudding. It's a 04 cummins turbo diesel. 12in suspension lift. I think there is also a 3in body lift. The stacks in the back are 7in a piece. Wheels are 20 with 40in tires. He has those ridiculous train horns. I can't exactly remember the engine mods. I know there are bigger fuel pumps and it has a chip but the trans can't hold the power. He is suppose to be getting a reinforced one within the spring. Either way its quick, lifted, and pretty clean(when it's not muddy).

Stacks Save Lives! Looks well-done, I think. I love Dodge trucks.

I plan to have my Dana 30 SAS, 31-spline Trac-lok 8.8 rear axle, and 3.73 gears done on my '92 Ranger in the next couple months. It's already got a 2" spring/block lift, and I don't care to go any higher. Largest tire I'll run is a 33". Anything else is too excessive for such a small truck, especially with the original 4.0. Hopefully I can get some 4.88 or 5.23 gears and at least a front locker for it come summer. 4-low is still too tall with 31"s, granted it's got 3.55 gears right now.

Most of those guys around here drive like jackasses... with their attitude and their damn bright lights annoying people.

But... they're cool without the attitude of the owners.

yeap, we got the same case around here. they are almost as bad as the ricers but at least the diesels can be fast. i like to call it redneck rice.

Not as many of those on the western slope of Colorado. They build true rock crawlers around here. For normal 4 wheeling, you don't want all that lift either. There really isn't a practical reason for it.

The Camo Chevy is nice!

you want to see 4WD trucks? Come to Florida...makes no sense to me either, but, the rednecks love them.

The most we even have here is mudding...but, your truck doesn't need to have a 14" suspension lift and 4" body lift to make it through the mud...lol

Sorry, but the stacks make it hill billy style.

And the other dude's truck doesn't have too much camber at all. Looks fine to me. Toe on the other hand... looks a little off.

Sorry. My bad. I meant toe.

He use to have a 03 z71 with a 6" suspension and 2" body. Kept breaking so he built this. I try to hang with my 4.0 ranger thats missing 2nd gear and the 4x4 won't engage.

NIce.. I have a jeep I am building for rock crawling. 1996 XJ with 6.5 inch lift and 35s. I have a ways to go but its a good start.

With the flares removed.. I like them but they rub. There is alot of flex left still.. that is with front and rear sway bars connected.
