  1. I asked why the emblems were changed in the BAT comments. The guy said he liked the decals better. Which makes no sense on a 36k mile car. And he only had the hood painted. I think a previous owner had more paint work than that done.
  2. And BAT is truly garbage for being able to give a full thorough description with every little detail that a buyer should know. Their listings are generic and follow a basic retarded guideline….and leave out so much information…..
  3. Here are photos from 2022 where it had all original emblems…. https://www.garagekeptmotors.com/used-vehicle-1986-plymouth-conquest-tsi-c-2179/
  4. Dealer had it for sale Nov 2022. Sold it $23k Tjen it was posted for $24k on consignment I assume by the current seller. Exterior was painted OR newer decals added. That truly sucks in my opinion. First year widebody 1986 was the only year with the small TSi fender stickers and TSI badging on the rear. Now it has 87-89 decals on a 36k mile car. If I was buying a 36k mile car, it better be 100% original. That turns me off big time.
  5. Parts aren’t cheap. And any car that’s been sitting for a while will need a lot of crap… Just a heads up before you join this club on a low budget….
  6. No Reserve: 39k-Mile 1985 Mitsubishi Starion LE 5-Speed for sale on BaT Auctions - sold for $10,250 on July 30, 2024 (Lot #156,409) | Bring a Trailer Last one brought $10,762 after the 5% buyer's premium that BAT charges... You never know where it might land...That passenger side fender is trashed though and needs replacing/repair.
  7. I don’t buy from car dealers unless they’re losing money. It’s an interesting standard I’ve set for myself. 😎 He can make money off someone else. Not me… Poor moron knows nothing about the car. He’s just another lousy dealer who sourced inventory from auction…
  8. Did you shop around? Or check the Facebook groups where the enthusiasts hang out and nice cars become available occasionally. For far less than what you had to pay….. It’s your money but we occasionally see better quality cars for half the price….unless you are dead set on white with tan leather which is very uncommon… But you’re the type of buyer for those types of auctions. And it all worked out if you’re happy with it…
  9. The Fiji—-what an atrocious set of seats in there. The Flatty—-that dealer paid $5500 off Marketplace from a private seller in Georgia. I’m glad he still has it. Let him keep it forever. He bought it in Dec2023, and then I see it posted for sale on eBay shortly after. And here we are a year later.
  10. “Back in the game” = “flip the very first one I find” 😎
  11. I’d never attempt to enter the market of SQs and hope to be profitable. These cars are a drain on your finances.
  12. Direct is the only way I know to be. The seller could be leaving money on the table by giving no effort in the presentation.
  13. Should have taken the time to make it really stand out and talk all about the car. No mention of maintenance records. Nothing. What all has been replaced and when? Thats my favorite part of selling a car. Putting forth amazing effort that really stands out. That’s why I usually achieve top dollar. People buy the seller before they buy the car.
  14. Worst description ever. Zero details about anything.
  15. $1.48/each on Rock Auto. preset gap is 44
