so call'd short and long valves
By Shelby,
ok i haven't heard much about these valves , other then you had to have certain ones in order to run diff cams,
found this out over the week end,,
short valves are hyd lifter valves
long valves are solid rocker valves
whats that mean, well each valve has it's own set of keepers and upper retainer plate,,AND they will not mix and match , mixing them up will guarranty a drop'd valve , and we don't want to see that
so what this means is if you are changeing the valve

Engine / Transmission / Chassis weight?
By AbsurdParadox,
Alright, I've been trying to look this up for a while now, and not having much luck.
I read somewhere that the curb weight is regarded as 3037lbs for the manual -- is this correct?
Also, does anyone know what the entire engine and/or transmission weighs?
Looking to compare these weights to the setup I'm going with.
