Hi, I just purchased a 86 Starion with the Sirius Dash head 3x2. I know that the extra 4 valves kick in at around 2500-2600. I believe its a 12v solenoid that activated at that rpm and guessing it opens up a hydraulic system to get the extra set of valves working. Now mine makes a horrible rattling noise as soon as it hits 2500rpm. Almost sounds like rockers too loose or could be the solenoid opening and closing really quick?
