In the process of installing a set of Cosmo coilovers (single spring) and I'm looking for some advive on the perch height. I completely removed the stock perch and machined some plates (exhaust flanges) to replace the stock perch. My question is what is an ideal height to weld the new perch at? In the pic it's currently 5 5/16" from the top of the housing. That's putting it pretty close to centered on where the stock perch was welded. I'm not looking to go super low. Bought an 89 a few months back, and the more I get into it the more rust I find. I don't think it's worth the time. The motor is strong, so I'm looking for a roller that is in good shape that I can just drop my motor and transmission in. Interior doesn't have to be in good shape. I can swap mine. I'm in South Carolina and willing to travel 300-400 miles, if its the right fit. Any help would be appreciated.

I bought this Starion with MPI last year and have been taking my sweet time getting it on the road. I am new to the game and since this is not a factory install, there is a lot I don't know about the engine. Noticed there is an oil leak coming from my intake manifold gasket. What gasket do I need? I believe this MPI is a Magna but has been powder coated black. Magna intake gasket?   Thanks
