87 shetland in tulsa with a 88/89 burgundy straightline interior!

I post here in the b.s. section to see if there would be any intrest, kinda on the edge of selling the car but......... This car used to be yellow!!!!! Ok, here's an odd one ... I think I'm looking for the metal rectangular piece (pictured below) that the rubber shifter boot bolts onto/into (???). My car is missing this piece, if they even exist. It's hard to tell from the FSM how this operation goes together. Anyway, I'm trying to figure out how to mount the rubber surround for the shifter and I think this is what I need.   If someone can verify there is such a part, please post up a picture. And, if anyone has one off a parts car ... I'm
