I absolutely hate the factory auto shifter. Way too faded, way too tall, and just too damn dorky looking for my taste. So,… I removed it. And cut it up. I shortened the shaft by 2.5”. Inside  that shaft is a little weenie actuator rod that unscrews from the gear selector part of the mechanism. Initially I used it as a reference for where that part would have to be cut, but ultimately unscrewed that dude, and discarded it. The conversion kit I bought uses a 1/4” diameter rod instead. 

Bought a car that had sat in someones backyard for 20 years. Blown engine.  towed it to my house.  Got it running and steering box was leaking bad. Swapped it with a good box from a parts car I had. Got the car running, and steering wheel is way off, like maybe between the 1- 2 o clock position.  I have no idea if it was like that when i bought it, or it was from the box swap. I was sure i had everything linesd up properly, aligment marks correct on the pitman arm, wheel centered  etc.  Sho

Anyone have a used one laying around?  wire and sensor broke off and i assume they are in the tank... i would even settle for directions to a how to on where to get the sensor and rewire it up to fix on my own. maybe a part number to cross reference or another one i can use from another model . the part is so simple i cant believe there isnt a generic replacement.  help! thanks

I am sure there are many of us in the same boat on this one but im gona put it out there anyway. I need a one piece air dam and i know i can order from motocam but need one that is not $900 unpainted. if anyone has one even if its beat up but can be fixed and is willing to make an affordable deal on it let message me. Again i know this is prob a "dumb question" but hey
