HKS Racing BOV Â (Finally works, here's how)

Well over the years the general consensus has been that the second port on an HKS racing BOV gets left open. And that to make it work one must supply a nearly dedicated, large, strong vacuum signal to the port visible in this pic. I probably asked every single person that has this BOV in their quest and got that same answer, and I suspect that theory came from CNM. If you have it, and that works for you, fine. I could not, no matter how hard I tried, make this unit work with it setup that wa
What gas mileage do you MPI guys get?

I would think that you would get better gas mileage since its a more efficient injection system. What are you guys getting?

a little info about my compression ratio

I will have much more info tomorrow i will post.
I just got off the phone with my machisist. He decked the block, resurfaced the head and figured out that with the 8:1 slugs that actually my compression will be 7.55:1 !
AWESOME!
He told me the Marnal head is a higher CC than a stock head and that's where the .45 difference in compression ratio is coming from.
Remember this is decking the block and my head has been resurfaced 3 times now.
I can definetely dig 7.55:1 !

 ok i got 4 fosgate tweeters up front- one in each door and two under the head unit for a center channel,1 six inch woofer in each door(thinking of putting a second one in each door)5.25 woofers and tweeters in the rear-all fosgate.i cut out the pocket under the double din hole for my e.q.-deck and e.q. are clarion pro audio 6 disc pro audio changer under the driver's seat. my mid and highs sound SWEET! now I just have to build a box for my 2 jl 12's- probably gonna have to lose the back seat a
