    Suspension Lift

    BluFalcon16G
    By BluFalcon16G,
Got a 89 Roller in my backyard that's kind of rough. It's fairly complete and I'd hate to strip it down for parts.  Was thinking of doing a "rally" build out of it. How would one go about adding additional lift to the car? Spacers on top of the strut tops?  Can coilovers be extended to provide additional lift? Any mods needed for the control arms? Just a idea I was throwing around.

Part throttle cut out under boost

    By BlueCuda,
My car that I only have 20 miles on since I got it running is running well for the most part.  If I am pulling a hill where it is making boost but I am not applying the throttle hard it cuts in and out a little bit.  It runs great under heavy throttle or cruise but part throttle under boost it could be better.   I do know the vacuum advance is in good shape, the original car I purchased happened to have two distributors in the trunk and one of them appeared to be brand new and I have checke

    Intermitted back up lights

    By madmanperez,
Before I do this I need to ask a stupid question. But first, from what I've read the backup lights are controlled by a switch screw into the transmission. Its's said to comprised of a spring and a little steel ball I should not lose . Also need to mention the I've checked the electrical connections and all are good. Just no signal from the switch. Now the question. Will removing this switch (since it's screwed into the trany) dump the transmission fluid?

    Hood release cable

    03CL55AMG
    By 03CL55AMG,
Well my fairly new ...not used very much hood release cable broke, luckily when I replaced this one ,I tied some wire to the latch as a back-up. its a PITA when its closed and no cable to pull. I purchased my last one from DADS...Engine Machine Service...I went to there website and there were some categories to click on, but nothing there....does anybody know if DAD is still in business or a reliable replacement for our hood release cables. thanks.
