also check the exhaust side of turbo for oil leaking in from turbo.can also pressure test the coolant system, pull spark plugs, and see if any traces of coolant.and when the smoke was pouring out was it running rough or normal?

you may think its expensive but the great thing is they still sell them.also if we dont support mks,dads,etc we will regret it when they are gone.its harder and harder to find parts.thank you guys for still doing it.

welcome to the family.it looks like a good starting point.technica nice too.ya the jet valve head is not the best.but dads engine parts can get you a head and everything you need to make it even better.good luck and have fun.

have to remove transmission an replace bearing. i would replace clutch if trans is out anyway

i actually extended the mookeehs to match factory cause i was using eibach springs.according to mookeeh with the coilover kit it should work.

the rears are no longer available.need to buy the mookeeh strut housings and mr2 inserts

check spark plugs could be putting the spark out with the boost.check fuel pressure as well.

nice to see interest in the cars.but he is correct parts are pricey and cheap ones are hard to find.starquestparts.net has some cars so check there to get a vibe on picing.i have seen $3000 ones out there but not running and not in great shape.good luck -
my issue with the radiator is the drain plug.the o-ring on the plastic petcock is the only thing keeping it from leaking.when it gets older watch when you tighten the drain the o-ring can pinch and leak.it also doesn't let you really tighten it.im converting mine to a proper sealing drain plug.

i run the same size on non shp wheels you will be fine. the 45 series are very slim choice and $$$$

if you do change the dash speakers they have to be super shallow or will not fit.
