Hoosierquest
Very smart woman there. Worth the watch. That woman is my new hero! Very bright even at 89. Her record keeping has saved her thousands of dollars over the year, something to think about.

Technology
right after i got out of the army i bought one of those new , 45 mpg on the highway What engine, how fast did you go, how much did the car weigh, what fuel? I'm skeptical.
strang3majik
the old V8s used to be great on gas. But, lack of maintainance and people running them out all the time make that seem impossible. Also...todays engines suck compared to 60s motors in the MPG segment. Partially due to the difference in gas as well.
Shelby
170cid 6 cyl, not a race car but would handle the 70-80 mph interstate speeds,, to be honest my wife drove to fl from ohio just under 1300 miles for $12.00 in fuel if i recall right reg was 90 octane with lead 260 sunoco 105 octane was like $.35 a gal
Technology
I know you can get better mpg with better gas, but still, 45mpg seems pretty high for an old car like that. I just think of weight, aerodynamics, and carbs, and my brain stops working.
psu_Crash
I have a set of lifetime brakes from NAPA, but I think with the compound they are made of I should get lifetime rotors too (on my caliber, not the starion) Edit: The link isn't working for me either.
