  1. So my motor stopped running. i pulled the valve cover to find the bolt that holds the camshaft sprocket to the camshaft snapped. everything is in place. the half moon seal and distributor shaft are keeping things together. will replacing the cam and cam bolt remedy things? will timing be hard to reset?

  3. i have an 87 conquest and i'm having a hard time trying to figure out why my car sputters. it starts sputtering around 4k rpms. i replaced the fusible links and noticed when then fusible link to the alternator is not hooked up, there is no sputter and the car runs great, but when the link is hooked up there is a sputter. bad alternator wiring, bad alternator?

  5. I tested my tps sensor, checked the resistance, it reads 5.8ohms. then i checked the idle voltage, throttle not moved and it reads 40 volts, and when the throttle is all the way open it reads 0.48volts. just for clarification, does that mean my tps is bad?

  8. oil will come out of the breather with the air it is venting.

  14. i'm not sure. i just unhooked the connector. i haven't gone as fas as taking it apart. how would i go about getting the injector out?
