Turborusty
camber issues FTL. Good Lord! thank you for saying that....I was starting to think I was starting to worry I was the only one who thinks cars look like cheap, mangled a**- when the wheel geometry is all jagged up. Demontsi........Your car looks so good right now, aside from the shortage of rubber, of course. But then again, I suppose it's yours to do with as you wish. but it does look 900% better than those janky looking Nissans.....and the reason I think they look bad? sitting down on top of the wheels.....that are all crooked as poop. Well....that and tires that come no where near fitting the rims. Cholo style Turborusty Edited December 2, 2008 by Turborusty
Eirewolf
looks to me like massive rubbing in the turns on a road course, and they look like they can't have more than a millimeter of suspension travel. they would scuff really badly over a rumble strip. D_Venable
I like the black one the best, since it looks the most drivable, aka has the least amount of negative camber. I want my car to sit that low, but I don't want all that camber, it's why I've bought camber plates for all 4 corners, and have them waiting to go on my car next time I get to her. I want it low, but I want it drivable without replacing tires every 5000-15000 miles and I'm not a huge fan of the stretched tire look, make it look like you can't afford the proper tires, sorry, just my opinion Edited December 2, 2008 by D_Venable

dem0ntsi
These guys stretch the tires on purpose as well as the negative camber for clearance purposes even with rolled fenders. They claim to drive like that but Im sure they dont track the cars or drive around like some crazy teenagers seeing as all of their rims cost well over $3k per set. Dave-O
Those Zeds are fire, dem0n. Baller status x1-million if they're all on coils, and daily driven at that height. There's some VW guys locally that are that low constantly - how they do it with our roads is beyond me, but it still looks absolutely killer when rolling down the street. -edit- http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e80/all4my18t/derek3.jpg It's lower now. Technology
I like the silver one's wheels the best. Other than that, these guys aren't very creative, they all have done exactly the same thing. And if they do drive them like that, I hope they optioned up to cushy leather because that would be one tough ride! lol.

Convette
Absolutly perfect. Stretching the tire gives you a better offset. And as low as they look, I bet most of them are dailys. I had tein drift spec coil overs on my 240, when I had it set, the suspension travel was only about .5 inches. Stiff as $hit, but droped with no rubbing. It litterly did not move. And camber, although many don't like it on here.. makes me happy. Some say not functional, on a street car yes, but did you ever see a touring car, or a f1 car for that matter? Camber helps you turn. Truth
If, in order to fit my rims on my car, I had to buy way smaller tires and roll my fenders... I think I would just buy smaller rims. That's just me though. Stretched tires might serve a purpose (although I still don't see how) but just because you CAN do something doesn't mean you should. It really doesn't look good. GoFastBeater
^^^^What he said. Tucked tires, goofy camber, 500 miles out of a set of rear tires...... I must be getting old or something because it looks like garbage to me.

jahjah
I'm sorry but this is just a fad and a stupid one at that. I see it alot in my area. Some teen kids who live with mommy and daddy decide to drop all their money on a car and wheels. the cars have no other mods or maybe some subs in the trunk. They do this for LOOKS. not for performance. All i see is a car lowered with wheels, and that makes me yawn. I don't care if they spent a months pay on them. i still think its LAME "Bling" by any other name is still just as lame.
