  1. I have no way to dismount the tires. I'll give priority to local pickup first. If nobody picks them up ill see about getting the tires removed to save on shipping.
  2. SOLD Forgot I had these in the barn. SQC members probably get a better deal than Craigslist shoppers. Located at 47978. http://tippecanoe.cr...4044740133.html
  3. No other parts. Car is sold. Not interested in trades.
  4. Another item I found in the bottom of my toolbox. I think these were $90 in a group purchase back in the day. Never used them. $90 shipped via priority mail reasonable? Email me adam.barten@gmail.com http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s145/gofastbeater/stuff%20for%20sale/plates.jpg
  5. Found these in the bottom of the toolbox. Forgot all about them. I think I paid $75 for them a long time ago from Mark V. Not sure if they're availiable anymore and I'd like to get my money back out of them, so lets say $80 shipped priority mail. I don't check PMs here, email me adam.barten@gmail.com http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s145/gofastbeater/stuff%20for%20sale/caps.jpg
  6. Car is on a trailer en route to its new home.
  7. Car is tentatively sold. I will update this thread if the deal falls through.
  8. Alton Brown's recipe is decent. We have chickens and more eggs than I know what to do with. I've made a few batches already this year.
  9. Ham is already cured. It doesn't need cooked like a turkey. Deep fryer probably won't do much for it.
  10. New power steering line installed. Replaced ISC--it doens't "hunt" for idle speed anymore but is still idling around 1200rpm. Might be a tuning issue.
  11. Ok I'll play Yes, they are expensive to own and maintain, but I've spent money on worse stuff.... http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s145/gofastbeater/dodge640x480.jpg
  12. Cracked at the flange again at the pump. I tried re-flaring an old line and didn't work so well last time, so I'll just replace the line. Again. Shipped to 47978. Nevermind. I guess autozone has these. Got one on the way. Mods please delete.
  13. I discovered the car had a slight leak at the power steering pump, so I went to tighten the line fitting just a tad more end evidently cracked it....again. So, I need to find a power steering line before it's ready for a test drive. Sorry.
  14. I know I have a set. Will have to check to make sure CV boots aren't cracked. They're kinda heavy, so shipping might be a lot depending where you are. $20 and they're yours. I'm in 47978. email adam.barten@gmail.com and we can work something out if you're interested.
  15. It's been a garage ornament for the past few years. I just don't have the time to mess with it right now. I start it up and drive it down the road every once in a while to make sure it's still alive, but that's it. I bought it as a roller. Car has engine from my old 87 that was rebuilt about 10-15k ago (about 10 years ago). Odometer shows 12X,xxx. miles I think. Underside and body are absolutely rust free (came from South Carolina). A couple tiny bubbles around the sunroof, but very very minor. Has been repainted with a base/clear. Has a sy/ty 20gTD06 sitting on a header I built. 3" exhaust, no cat. I fabbed some hardpipes for it. Intake and throttle body were machined larger. 51mm I think--it's been a long time--basically as large as you could go but still have a decent gasket surface. I never could get the Gen2 MAFT to autotune from the wideband signal, so I threw a plain old MAFT in there. Haven't bothered to tune it. Dawes device is turned down to about 10 psi and there's enough fuel for that so I left it alone. Has two primary injectors, BCFPR, upgraded fuel pump (master or bosch, can't remember). 284 cam and HD valve springs. AEM UEGO and autometer boost gauge in pillar pod. Electronic fuel pressure gauge in the dash where the factory boost gauge was. Engine has a crank scraper (won it on SQC). 8/9 wheels with new 225 and 245 fuzion tires. MSD blaster 3 coil. A/C removed. Jet valves and balance shafts eliminated. I put a newer torque tube in it with a new splined coupler. Rebuilt a couple CV joints while I was at it. I have a slightly used ACT clutch that I haven't got around to installing. I think it's the street pressure plate with xtreme disk? Can't remember. Whatever we all decided was the best combo a while back. Clutch is ok now but will slip a bit if you get a really good launch and don't spin. Car had the rare checker cloth/leather combo interior like you see on the door panels. I still have the seats in my shed but they need the leather redone. Tears in driver seat leather and back seat leather. Cloth was in really good shape. I'll dig them out to verify--haven't seen them in a while. 87 seats are in good shape other than a wear spot on the driver seat as you can see in the pic. Interior is clean and in pretty good shape. Original conquest floormats. I have an aftermarket sway bar and bushings laying around somewhere that I haven't installed. There are a couple small dings and light clear scratches when my dog tried to chase the cat up the car one day but they will come out with a little rubbing I'm sure. No rust at all on the frame rails. Now the bad: Passenger headlight doesn't automatically go up/down. Probably something simple. Idle speed controller is goofy. I think I have another around somewhere. It will idle steady with it disconnected but is around 1,000 rpm. I think there are some vacuum leaks though that are contributing to that. There is a valve train tick that comes and goes. I have tried new slack adjusters and even switched to a mechanical setup and it's still there. I don't know if it's a valve seat ticking or what. It had a reman head from napa (ya, i know) put on it after the rebuild way back when. Clear coat has bubbled and chipped off on a couple spots on the rearview mirrors. Driver side spoiler piece has paint bubbling and some has flaked off (common). Scratch on the passenger side fender toward the bottom. Radio antenna doesn't go up/down. Windshield wipers were hit or miss so I took the motor apart for contact cleaning and now it doesn't return after it's shut off. Driver side auto seat belt doesn't cycle automatically. I probably have a spare sensor if that's the cause. Last time I put any real amount of miles on it was the 2007 meet in Grand Rapids when we drove over to the Lake Michigan and back. Car did fine but got a little warm when I was romping in it a lot (just a tad past half way). Turning on the heater brought the temp back down. Perhaps the radiator needs boiled out or re-cored. I had all the aluminum on the engine polished at one point, but a broken power steering line spewed fluid all over. I sprayed purple power cleaner all over and it ruined the finish. It would only take a little elbow grease to bring back the shine. Will probably need a new battery from sitting so long. 11/19 EDIT: Battery replaced. Speedometer is reading like 30mph slow for some reason. I've tried to be as honest as possible about the car. With a little work it will be a good runner, but I just don't have the time or the interest right now. It's taking up valuable space in the shop so it's time for it to go. Anyway, plug away with any questions. Cell phone pics are as it sits right now. Good pics are from last time it was really shined up--from the 2007 national meet. Easiest way to get ahold of me is adam.barten@gmail.com. Location is 47978. PRICE: I guess I'll start at $2,000. With some minor work it's worth a good bit more I think. If I am being unreasonable please let me know. http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s145/gofastbeater/IMG_0012.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s145/gofastbeater/IMG_0052.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s145/gofastbeater/IMG_0058.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s145/gofastbeater/quest1.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s145/gofastbeater/quest2.jpg http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s145/gofastbeater/quest3.jpg
  16. So this is like one of 3 balt blue 89 starions known to exist?
  17. Never could get mine to work correctly. I also used the HKS tach adapter. The wideband voltage would constantly jump all over the place. Sent the box back to have it checked out. No problems with the box. Maybe it was just a noisy electrical system in the car. Tried new noise filters at the coil. Tried different grounds for MAFT, wideband, etc. I gave up and traded it for a plain old maft.
  18. Seems to be hitting a lot of online news sites today. NY Times, NPR, Washington Post, etc.
  19. Yeah I just found it after I posted my thread. Oops. Too bad this will probably never make mainstream media.
  20. LOL Justpaus, you beat me to it. Nevermind my thread.
