I hate to say this, but I'm out too guys. Got extended family coming in, and I just can't swing it. Maybe Jimmy can host an Import Showdown for all us old-time SQ'ers and we can meet in the fall. You guys have fun!

Thanks for the love, guys. She knows what the Conquest is. I still had mine when we started dating, but sold it about a year afterwards. She still says she misses that car, but she loves S2K's as well. She's somewhat of a car girl, loves sports, beer, and rock music. What's not to love? Been awhile since I've been on here, so I figured I'd drop in and say what's up. Lots of things have changed since the last time I was here. I'm getting married in six days, I've stepped up at the company I have been in for almost 11 years, and I'm currently carless. I sold my Acura TSX two weeks ago, and I'm getting my dad's cheapo 93 Ram pickup. I'm borrowing my sister's 05 Vovlo V70 wagon.... so I'm temporarily stuck in suburban soccer-mom hell. I have found an awesome deal on an S2000 (for those who don't know me, my second favorite car EVAH!.) It's in Indianapolis-ish, so if anyone in that area is willing to go look at it for me, I would gladly paypal you some gas money. It would be greatly appreciated since I don't like buying things sight-unseen. It would be nice if all the old time regulars could get together again in PF or something. It would be really nice to see some of my ol' pals again. I genuinely miss you guys. Hotrod, Jonboy, Ken, Jimmy, Scott, Justin(s), Grant, Lyle, Brandon, Wayne, Josh, and any of my friends whom I've left out. I haven't forgotten about ya's!

Even though I only stayed a couple hours before heading back, I can depressingly say that this meet wasn't as fun as the others I had been a part of. Without a lot of the regulars who didn't show, it just didn't have the same vibe about it IMHO. It was very good to see the ones who did show though. I don't get to see you guys very often.

I'm planning on leaving work around 12, so I should be showing up no later than 4. Only planning on making one stop... for some cheap SC gas. I will probably drive Area 32 on the way there since it's on my way anyway. This will be the first time I show up in a dirty car too... as soon as I wash it it will rain. First time for everything, no?

I might be down for sharing a room with you guys. I think I'm coming up Saturday afternoon and leaving Sunday. Short, I know.... but since I got back from vacation today, it might be hard for me to wrangle some more time away. PLUS I'm saving little by little for the wedding next year. The future in-laws are paying for 90% of it, but you never know what last minute expenses come up. I'm planning on arriving no later than 3pm Saturday. Hope to see you guys there.

I'll be there either Friday or Saturday and make a day trip. Probably can't stay over night, but we'll see. If I do stay over night, I'll have to crash with someone.

BUMP! I'm really wanting this to be gone. I plan on proposing to my girlfriend next spring, and I would like to get all my finances in order before then. Selling this car will help a bunch. Please, someone give her a good home.

After almost 10 years here, I think I have ran my course. Recent events have led me to believe it's time for me to move on. I apologize to anyone I may have offended in the process. The last several months have been hard on me because I've been wanting to move on but haven't been able to get my car sold, and I have started taking it out on people here that didn't deserve it. Once again, I apologize to anyone that may have been offended by me. A lot of the members from the past don't come around here any more, and I really miss the way it was when they were here. The forums have changed in recent years, not necessarily for the better or worse, just changed. I believe it's time for me to move on. Maybe I'll pop in here or there in the future, but for the most part this is it. I'll still come to the Pigeon Forge meet to hang out with my friends, and I'll also be at at least one of the Import Showdown's at Jimmy's house every year. For the time being, I'll stay around until my car is sold, but after that happens, then it's goodbye for good. You guys have been good to me, and for that, I say thank you. Bad economy or not, this is the cheapest forum I've ever seen. This truck is a steal to have and I don't know what the problem is. This just adds to the frustration of not being able to get rid of mine as well. Someone pick this truck up!

GLWS Scotty. I hope you get what you're asking, but it seems people on SQC lately are being really cheap posteriors.

Compared to what it used to be, boxing is dead. I'd rather watch MMA all day.

I can't believe someone bought that car for $2500 but no one wants my non-wrecked running one for 3 grand.

Precisely one of the reasons I haven't gone back to school. Tuition is ridiculous, they make you pay for classes that in NO way pertain to your major, and they nickle and dime you to death. You pay your dues and get a degree, then you have to pay back hundreds of thousands of dollars in debt. No thanks.
