My new tires and rims were delivered today :happy0030: I would have liked to have put them on the car and taken the pics that way, but since there is no suspension on my car :P , at least for the next month or so, I decided to take a few pictures and get your guys opinions anyway. The rears are 18 x 9.5 with a 20mm offset with a 275/35/18 tire. The fronts are 18 x 8 with a 20mm offset and a 235x40x18 tire.

YOU GOT THE OFFSETS CORRECT MY SIZES ARE THE SAME EXCEPT FOR THE FRONT IS 18 EVENLY

YOU ARE PROBABLY GOING TO NEED A 1.25 SPACER 5X4.50 OR 114.3 TO 5X4.50 FROM LAKESHORE TIRE AND WHEEL PDX87 is correct on the rear.

what are you saying, that the rear is the correct offset and he doesnt need a spacer? if he mounts the rears without a spacer the are going to be sitting inward more than a stock SHP.

justpaus is running 10.5 inch rears @ zero offset

-3mm offset actually. ;)

For a 9.5" +20mm rim, i'd run a 20-25mm offset based on how the front 8" +20mm rim will fit.. There's no reason to push the envelope with 30mm+ spacers for the rear when the front's won't be crazy flush with the fenders.

You're in the minority here. People just don't want stretched tires and camber/toe induced tire wear issues.

What's on that rear 12? 285's or 275's?

If he wanted to, he could get away with 10mm spacers with the cost of longer studs versus a bolt-on spacer in 20-25mm.

Nice choice in rims, it gives me an idea on what mine will look like on the car  Looks like we think alike, and no, the car's gold. ;)

I knew I would be needing spacers, I was planning on bringing the rears closer to a 0 offset, 5mm maybe at the most. I'm just going to have to see how they fit and look once I get everything back together. I have a set of Mookehs full coilovers that are going in so at least I wont have to worry about the fender lip and the spring perch both. I have heard mostly good stuff about the tires so I figured I would spend a bit more a get a tire that looks to handle well.

Thanks everyone for the comments, I will also hold my final judgement until I get them on the car, but I think they look pretty good. :D

I ran Ichiba 25mm spacers made for the 350Z with mine on the rear--none on the front. 20mm spacers will also work fine.

I would get another set of the TSW Thruxton wheels, but I don't like the fact that nobody make a hubcentric ring for them. You have to get them custom made. Without a hubcentric ring you may get some vibration since the wheels may not center themselves via the lugs--and there is no such thing as a "lugcentric" wheel no matter what you are told. I just kinda fabbed my own rings and they worked ok, but not perfect.

The TSW thruxton has a 76mm center bore. Our hubs are 67.1mm. I think the largest I found was a 67mm-73mm adapter.

Now I KNOW I won't get another set of these...everyone else is getting them! :o

There used to be only 2 of us with TSW Thruxton wheels...now there are 5! (I don't have mine since I sold the car in my sig pic with the Thruxtons recently--yes the sig pic will change soon)

My rims came with hubcentric rings. They aren't made from metal but a really hard plastic. I just told them when I ordered them that I wanted them to be hucentric and gave them the dimensions and they included the rings for free. I ordered my rear adapters from Wheeladapter.com. He is making them so they will be hubcentric to both the hub and the wheel. If I end up running a spacer in front I will probably get them from the same place and have them made the same way.

I did alot of looking before I ordered the wheels. My original plan was to go 17", but my choices on rims with a close enough offset were pretty slim. I started looking at 18's and I had alot more to choose from, especially in the larger width rears. Probably why they are getting more popular, not alot of choices for our cars :confused0024:
