Dave-O
I've been told it also produces more smoke, but personal evidence is inconclusive. I do notice that breakaway is smoother with reverse-mounting.
thagremlin
Oh yea tire it was. Haha I also heard of putting bleach in your tires will help make more tire smoke.. But trust me don't do it. I tried and it didn't work. Lol it just made my car smell like bleach on the way to the track..

dmyers151
^ haha My tech teacher in HS was an oldschool car guy. He told me they used to take an old washer fluid bottle/pump assembly and mount it in the trunk. They'd run a hose and T into each rear fender well, then fill the bottle with bleach and run a switch. Instant smoke show.
thagremlin
That's just to much work for tire smoke lol. That's a good thing our cars have lots of torque. No bleach needed. Just more wheel spin
conquest707
ive heard the bleach thing a bunch of times, jsut more smoke, one guy said hed use bleach with a little motor oil in it to spin donuts, same guy who would park his rear wheels on a couple trays from mcdonalds on his fwd and lock the ebrakeand have at it... gotta make those fwd's fun somehow i guess.

D_Venable
I might as well update the stance on the flatty Rota SA Racing 16x8 +10 offset, now running 25mm spacers all around for a combined -15mm offset http://26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10030/P3060464.jpghttp://26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10030/P3060459.jpghttp://26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10030/P3060479.jpg

logikfive
17x9 and 17x10.5 chrome Cobra R's with 245/40/17 front, and 315/35/17 rears. 1/4" spacer in the front, and I haven't figured out what the width of the rear spacer is yet. I'll edit this as soon as I figure that out. They are very close but do not rub, I don't think they will under normal driving conditions, either. Hard driving they might a little bit but not enough to hurt anything. I'm in love with the look! Too bad my Starion's rods were at the door and my doorbell doesn't work. Front could stand to be SLIGHTLY lower, rear lip needs to be rolled, but will cause no issues after that. http://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs366.snc3/23604_385438992629_542677629_3720906_4368370_n.jpghttp://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs386.snc3/23604_385439002629_542677629_3720908_3340733_n.jpghttp://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs386.snc3/23604_385439012629_542677629_3720910_112679_n.jpghttp://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs426.ash1/23604_385439017629_542677629_3720911_7437099_n.jpghttp://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash1/hs426.ash1/23604_385439022629_542677629_3720912_608425_n.jpghttp://hphotos-snc3.fbcdn.net/hs386.snc3/23604_385439027629_542677629_3720913_3363687_n.jpghttp://sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/hs386.snc3/23604_385439032629_542677629_3720914_2365358_n.jpg
