  1. depends on the transmission used, the rx7 trans (im fairly certain) sits about right for the SQ shifter hole. if you use a transmission from a truck it will be about six inches forward of stock
  2. http://projectzerog.com/rx7transmissions.shtml the bellhousing required for this swap and the hardest part to find. stronger transmission that is designed for higher revs. 200obo plus shipping
  3. theres lots of ways they could make it work quite well i think.. maybe theyre not finished. like a front spoiler and negative pressure vents above the ic to draw air through maybe? like they do with radiators to keep the heat off the motor and such... nah then theyd be blasting the ic with hot air from the rad if it was right blow it... oh i give up...
  4. the cases and harness are identical i think. open it and 88+ have two boards inside not just one.
  5. the 19c is essentially a highly modified stock unit. Bored out compressor housing with a larger, flush wheel and the turbine wheel clipped. 100% direct fit replacement for the stock. but obviously more mods are recommended if you want to get the most out of it.

  7. would like to sell all this together: 19c turbo, ported/clipped turbine wheel, little shaft play. comes with everything, compressor housing to turbine housing with the "good" wastegate actuator. (tdo5) 2.5" downpipe, solid no flex section. looks like a tep unit. not certain though ss braided oil feed line with fittings 500 shipped obo heres a pic i had of it in my car.. detailed pics to follow http://i824.photobucket.com/albums/zz161/conquest707/downsized_1207011016.jpg also have a couple stock exhaust manis 50 each plus shipping MK1 struts packed up ready to ship 120 shipped a bunch of wheels if you are local.. 88+ ecus and knock boxes.. lots more just ask.
  8. the hard part is taking out the ac unit, thats pretty straight forward, especially if you dont mind cutting through some lines to get them out then the duct fits perfectly in the span, dont have to screw it in or anything.
  9. i dont think i have a bung but ill check. 30 plus shipping for the duct and alt bracket?
  10. yea its such a simple bracket you can use about anything haha this ones off a mighty max i think. email me
  11. so its an independent system under the hood so you can just tear all that out, the lines, fan and all that. the bung plugs the hole left from the lines through the firewall, the duct replaces the system under the dash, and the bracket replaces the 15 pound thing that holds the ac compressor and alternator with an 8oz one that just holds the alternator. and yes it looks much cleaner, would only be able to tell it had ac to begin with from the hvac controls
  12. yep! the bracket, duct and a solid bung for the firewall is all you need to completely remove the AC.
  13. also light porting on the ports, looks like a quick gasket match, i didnt do that one so cant tell you for sure.

  16. so i have this dodge d50 diesel with the 4d55 in it. its the BEST little truck, but the transmission is in dire need of replacement. im pretty sure the chassis has close to 400k on it at this point. recently rebuilt engine but ive pulled out 2 synchro rings so far and it sounds like a handful of bolts in a blender. if you have one or can give me a lead on one that would be the best thing.. ever. thanks in advance!!
  17. yea i know.. *hangs head* thought i figured out a scheme but just isnt working out :/ ill for sure get back to you
