Off Road Conquest

I know a lot of people like to slam their cars to the ground, specially in the city. Some cars make sense to slam. But their are others that make no sense, like Subarus and Evos.

The StarQuest looks good slammed. Personally I like to be able to drive mine almost any where. So going low is no longer what I want.

Went for a drive today, some canyon carving roads and at the bottom I came across this road.

So I asked myself; Can I make it up there?

I got up about so high, started losing traction as the road got real steep.

Makes me want to get the right set up to do more off road driving. Anyone else take theirs off road?

My Dad had a wagon one of those as well.

In all my years on this site, I have not seen much interest in wanting to rally drive the StarQuest.

And its kind of odd because the SQ plays quite a role in rally race history.

I know there is a guy named Neil Philpotts who put together a rally themed SQ in recent years.

Early camber plates and stock springs had me riding high.
