Fuze Posted March 23, 2015 Report Share Posted March 23, 2015 Some of us use GM alternators with a custom lower bracket to get something more robust that puts out 100Amps. Somebody was selling them for a while, maybe still is. I never saw the Starion 100Amp Alt but usually I have had bad luck with rebuilt Mitsu alts in general. If you pick up an alt for an old caravan or k car with 2.6 the alternator is so much bigger. It puts out 75 amps just like stock, just so much bigger.
