New guy super happy 2b here,in Colorado....

Well I got my 86 station last week.I flew out to St Louis and drove it back to Colorado.the car has

59k and in really good condition.

It was kinda a impulse buy but I really wanted it.I have another sports car but have put too many

Miles on it + it has no heat.....I found this one on bring a trailer.

Anyway s thanks for having me!

 

To do list

Install new injection connectors

Oil pan gasket\front crank seal

Clean intake\throttle body\injectors

Inspect \diagnosis drive line clunk "torque tube mounts"

Maybe clutch.

New catless down pipe\exhaust

Set timing

 

Stuff I have done

Spark plugs,wires,cap,rotor

T-stat upper rad hose

K&n

Drooled over it a lot :-)

 

It runs strong to 5300rpm then looses steam

Idles rough....

Very nice looking car you got there. Might want to check the diff mounts too, when they rot the diff can move up and down. Good luck.

Zero rust ,it only has 58000 miles

 

I looked at diff mounts and nothing jumped out at me.I'll try move it around with pry bar.

It only cluncks right when start in 1st.
