probably a hybrid or diesel hybrid...

i wish they would stick to the concept rather than dumb it down for production.

i like it a lot it is probably the return of the ECLIPSE.

would be nce if it was a GSX

Definitely has body lines similar to the 4G Eclipse.

I was just at the Philly car show on Sunday and picked up some literature in the Mitsu booth ... says they are currently developing an EVO 11 that's aimed at the Nissian GT-R. Hopefully it doesn't turn like their previous attempt - 3000GT to compete with the Supra.

concept: probably all electric

production: hybrid 3 cylinder fwd, maybe awd with electric motors to drive the back.

At least that's how I'd do it. With an all electric option.

funny fuel powered FTMFW

I wouldn't care if it ran on orange juice...I'd just park it in my living room, quit my job, and stare at it all day. Maybe rub it with a diaper too.

Here's another artist's rendering of the concept...

That's called an R8.

lol, R8. I recently watched a video about the McLaren P1 test car. 3.8L V12 twin turbo with a ~150hp electric motor next to it to assist. Total output is around 900hp. I say cut all that in half and use it in the mitsu.

How nice would a 1.9L L4 turbo engine be with 375hp plus another 75hp from the motor? 450 to all 4 wheel! I can tell you from experience: a 450hp car is faaaaast.
